My favorite trick used to win me major coin at the local bar. You bet someone that you can get them totally shitfaced drunk off a single shot of booze. There are only two caveats: It has to be hard liquor 80 proof or over, and they have to drink it your way. They usually agree. I'd drop a 50 or 100 on the bar, and they cover it. I leave it with the bartender so there's no trickery. They order their shot, Jack Daniels is popular, but it could be anything. Then they'll reach for the glass, intending to slam it back. Then you remind them to drink it YOUR WAY, and tell them to drink the whole thing by dipping their finger into it and licking it off. They'll scoff. Let them. They'll get about halfway through it before they're completely wiped. I had a guy get almost 3/4 of the way through it, then say he had to go to the bathroom...and promptly faceplanted, out cold drunk. The trick is a matter of physiology. When you drink booze, it gets absorbed in your stomach, but has to go through your entire body to affect your brain, until the liver breaks the alcohol down. But if you lick it off your finger a bit at a time, it gets absorbed through the tongue and mouth, and doesn't have to go more than a few fingerlengths away to get to the brain. That one shot is multiplied in effect to eight or ten shots, and it's all going straight to the brain FIRST, THEN through the rest of the body. It's like dipping your brain in a bowl of booze. I've never seen this one fail.

Okay so Canada here for some feedback. #10 is really easy and requires hardly any technique because our bills are made from polymer and our coins are heavier, pulling quickly on the bill works just as well. #9 I tried with a couple different cups and found i could balance a looney (which is bigger and heavier than a quarter) on either side with just a bit of carefully placing, didn't even bother trying to fill up the cups, moving on to #8. #8 Used to be one of my favorite bar tricks until i saw someone actually clear the bill using small tugs to inch the bill out from the bottom of the bottle (this was when we had paper money mind you, although i just tested it with our polymer bills and can easily clear the bill with a nice clean yank) #7 I suppose it depends on the thickness of the rim because i tried with a few different cups at home and was able to lift the cup and not make the coins fall. That said, the second version of the trick is actually kinda neat as it involves several steps and abstract logic, the wording needs to be very specific however when issuing this challenge. #6 Nothing bad to say here, good trick, requires some out of the box thinking and a bit of chemistry/physics knowledge. #5 Cheeky, risky, but if you pull it off it's also a good laugh for everyone when they realize how they've been duped. #4 Mind blown, possibly redeemed yourself for #10-#7 #3 Call me a smart ass but as you were explaining the rules I figured it out before you gave gave the solution. #2 Again figured it out easily because you used a wine bottle in the video and wine bottles have more pronounced punts. I suggest proposing this challenge when there are only beer bottles in sight as the punt is barely noticeable so most people wont think of it. #1 Pretty clever, again wording is key when issuing a challenge if you want to ensure victory, say you can pour the beer into the glass without lifting the beer off the table and you'll have them scratching their heads and begging for the answer. I say this because if someone did this to me I'd say technically you poured it out of the straw and lost your own challenge by default. Hope my criticism is appreciated rather than hated. Remember if you want to win every time you need to pick your targets carefully and chose your words wisely. Good luck and cheers!

Yup. Combination of cohesion and adhesion. Adhesion sticking water molecules to the card and glass, cohesion for the surface tension and forces pulling the water together. This all works with gravity (acting on the water, glass, and part of the card over the glass) to cancel out the gravitational forces on the other end of the card and from the coin. Don't know what you all are talking about since I didn't pay attention to how they poured the beer but one thing is 100% for sure. You never tip the glass to pour the beer. Touching the side of the glass with the beer ruins the molecular structure of the beer thus ruining the beer. Yep, if any of you thought it was correct you are incorrect. That is straight from Bartender school.
