Top 10 Behaviors When Children Get in Trouble-Part 1. As an administrator for 12 years and a teacher for 17 I have seen the range of behaviors students display when they "get in trouble" or are confronted for misbehavior. I also have children of my own. You can take it to the bank, this list covers the range of responses you will get. So prepare yourself as a parent or teacher to see these and educate yourself about them while summer is going on. You are absolutely right Chris! I see it all the time working at my school for the past 26years. Especially working around teachers and administrators. I only work as a custodian, but I see it all the time.

We have three kids, two older boys and a high school aged daughter. Here is their behavioral breakdown when in trouble: Older son-- Cannot understand why everyone is not cool with whatever it was that he did wrong. Younger son-- Petrified of doing wrong. Will readily admit wrong and correct. Daughter -- Not her fault. Victim of various conspiracies -- some massive. Very rarely in trouble though.

Hi, 57 years old here, so that probably explains this but, in 12 years of public education I was NEVER disciplined. The only other student who I know was disciplined was a student who was caught setting trash can fires!

I've been exactly where you were not too long ago. In fact, I think I've clocked in more hours sitting in front of a Principal's desk than I have behind one. I've been down your road many times, so I suggest you listen to people who know."?
