In my hometown of Vienna, Austria, the first Five Guys opened earlier this year (also COVID-delayed). Struck me as pricey (cheeseburger with non-outrageous toppings for 12.50 EUR ($15-ish)). But the quality is a whole different thing compared to McD or BK (both of which have been here for decades). I will certainly try it again. But so far, there is only one Five Guys in downtown Vienna, so not around the corner of my place...

@@davidscmann7084 Near Rock Hill? I’ve eaten at Cook Out from Beckley WV, Greensboro NC, Charlotte NC, Gaffney SC, and Rock Hill SC and I have yet to get a bad meal. I used to love Bojangles, but a month ago their chicken was over breaded, over cooked, greasy and the coleslaw was rancid. I haven’t been back since.

Then I tried one in Gastonia North Carolina. It was the least bad one. And then the one in Greenville South Carolina. It is a flaming hunk of horse manure.

Totally agree. I went to my first Culver's in Colorado Springs Colorado and then moved to Melbourne Florida, no Culver's.. Until last year, they opened a store in Palm Bay, yay!

I don't understand the five guys hype. Their burgers are made of decent quality meat, but are poorly seasoned, extremely greasy and stupidly expensive. Their fries are pretty good, but also overly greasy. For the price of a five guys burger and fries you can get a far superior (and bigger) avocado, bacon cheeseburger with fries, a drink, and coleslaw at the nearby diner.

Opened 2 Fiveguys stores. While they are good, your video states they serve a charred burger. They do NOT. The are cooked on a stainless steel flat top griddle. As they should be! The raw beef patties cook in their own emitted juicy flavors.

It's funny but I saw a video on worst fast foods and Taco Bell was on the list. I never go to Starbucks because it's expensive and I don't like coffee anyway. I've never herd of Culvers. Also in the video of worst fast foods was Subway. It depends on what McDonalds you go to. I went to the one at Circus Circus in Las Vegas and I had a double cheese and it was too salty and near the end the bun was too crusty.

Funny thing with Subway. You're saying, that it's really cheap, meanwhile in my country, Subway is so expensive, that it barely manage to prosper. For whatever reason, my people can't comprehend paying something around 10$ for basically a sandwich, something they can make at home. Of course they will never make that kind of sandwich at home, and will never consider that they're not paying ONLY for the sandwich, but also for all the trouble of making it, managing leftovers, gathering the ingredients etc. Oh, and Starbucks is a joke in some countries, because people there like the actual coffee, and Starbucks just had no chance, like in Portugal

Top 3 I actually dislike chipotle...that pico... 🤢 However it does have fresher food. Panera is good, very expensive and the menu might not appeal to everyone. Taco bell...well hit or miss but it doesn't taste fresh and I have gotten diarrhea after eating there before so I rarely ever eat there.

When Panera Bread first opened up (in my area); I loved their loaded bake potato soup!! Tasted homemade, fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious! Fast forward 5 years(maybe less) later and I got that soup again. They changed the recipe; it was terrible. They obviously used instant potatoes as a thickener and instead of a true chicken stock; used a cheap powdered version. I loved the original version so much that I went back again and again to figure out the ingredients so I could make it myself. Panera Bread, shame on you!! You had a great recipe and messed it up by cutting corners.

Went from high quality to most popular.... which is it? This list is as inconsistent as a steak at Applebee's. Notable absences based on the members of this list: In n out Whataburger Dunkin Donuts/Krispy Kreme (the moment you put Starbucks on the list opens this up.)
