If you find a wounding laser weapon (pretty rare, in my experience), hang onto it. It's devastating when you add the scatter attachment as it seems each beam applies the wounding effect separately. I believe this would also work on a shotgun, but I haven't tested its effectiveness.

The Never-ending Double-Barreled Shotgun should definitely get an honorable mention here, because there is a certain quirk about it that it has an absolutely insane fire rate actually, but normally you of course get a reload every two shots so you don't really notice it much... However with unlimited magazine capacity it turns into a shotgun with a firing rate almost as fast as you can click :p

I know this is an old video, but my favorite legendary is the explosive radium rifle I got off a triggerman. It already had ballistic and radiation, but now it also does explosive, which has been the only reason I survived many encounters, especially once I made it automatic.

THERE IS NO BLEED RESISTANCE IN FALLOUT 4. Wounding Shotgun applies stacks faster than the ripper, specifically the double barrel. This thing is deadly, even against the toughest enemies in the game. They melt so fast that I can't think of a simile with similar melting rates.

Wounding is best found on high fire / attack rate weapons. Ripper and automatic weapons make the list, bleeding on a rolling pin doesn't do much of anything. Pickmans blade has wounding effect and will do better.

Electrical Gaming No it's not. Explosive shotgun is more powerful, and versatile. It can be used like a silent grenade launcher. If aim perfectly. You can kill an entire group of enemies in one shot. I'v killed 4 to 5 rust devils with 1 shot.

One downside of two shot legendary effect is that two shot effect increases weapons recoil considerably. So, for automatic weapons I mostly prefer the assasins effect.

I know it has been years, but my favorite weapon I got has to be my instagating sledgehammer. I fully upgraded it. Now combine that with the rooted and big league perks with the fury chem and a yao guai roast. Also with the ninja and blitz perks if you so choose to (with a calmex chem if you can find one).

Best I ever had I looted off a trapper at the lighthouse in the south of Far Harbor island. He was standing on the roof of a house next to the lighthouse, and every time I got near I died very quickly.When I finally killed him, I found it was a gatling laser with the radiation effect (+50 per shot, and that's a lot of shots) and a focusing muzzle. I don't use power armor, so I had quite a few fusion cores saved up. I used that gun to tremendous effect for the rest of the game.

stingwing chasers. Fast, tanky, high damage, swarms, and poison. If they hit you, your health will do a reverse stimpak and they will circle you, making it harder to hit them. When you do hit them, they will tank it and it won’t matter. Don’t even get me started on vampiric bloodbugs

Explosive is much better on the plasma gun since the explosive legendary effect applies to every application of damage and plasma guns apply both ballistic and energy. Make the plasma gun a shotgun, so that's six pellets per pull of the trigger, and since each pellet does two sources of damage, that's twelve explosions, and if you hit, that again doubles the damage as it applies the direct damage and the aoe damage from every source of damage from each pellet. Just don't shoot at your feet.

The "violent" and "mighty" legendary effects aren't too bad from my experience. While not quite as effective in the long term like bleed damage or infinite stagger, 25% raw damage increase (+25% raw damage AND limb damage increase for violent) makes some weapons pretty punchy like my 10mm pistol and combat shotgun I got pretty early on.

the two shot railway rifle is also good because it has a base damage of 100 and with nothing but the rifleman or commando perk you can get the railway rifles damage up to 400 damage per-shot add in some psycho and your dealing 500 damage per-shot witch is more than a stock rocket launcher if I'm correct

For the explosive minigun might I also add that if you have rank one or two of scrounger you find bucket loads of 5mm ammo

12:20 - For some reason, the Never-ending effect doesn't work well on the double-barrelled shotgun: I have a mod that lets me remove and transfer Legendary effects to/from weapons and armor. I looted a Never-ending plasma rifle, put the effect on a double-barrelled shotgun, but the shotgun seems considerably weaker than the combat shotgun. It has 10 less damage, sure, but it seems even weaker than that.

I prefer the irradiated radium rifle over the gamma gun because it deals better non-radiation damage and uses more common ammo in the form of the .45 round

I got the explosive minigun on my first playthrough or maybe 2nd but it was one of the first ones. I had everything built around it obviously like heavy gunner perks and also if you have the explosive perks those i think increase the damage also on the explosive versions but i could be wrong. Damage on mine was 104 per shot which is insane on a minigun with a firerate over 300. Hes right as far as turning it into easy even on the hardest difficulties because this thing will mow through literally anything. You can just watch any of the high level enemies with lots of health watch their health just drain very fast. I was also on like level 135 on that one which is the highest ive ever been on fallout playthrough. Im currently doing a 100% survival mode playthrough and im on like level 76. This time ive got a gause rifle (spelling) that ignores 30% of targets energy and damage resistance it has a fire rate of 66 and damage over 400 per shot its pretty beasty and im using it with a stealth vats type build so my critial hits do alot more damage with better criticals and my sneak attacks on ranged weapons do like 3.5x the damage and i have critical banker as well as 14 agility (got 10 agility plus some of my armor has agility boosting stats) so i can get several hits in with vats even with the gauze rifle and i can have up to 3 criticals stored at any given moment and rifeman is also maxed out as well as finding several mags that added 5% to my ballistic weapon damage. I have a gamma gun too that i carry that does 320 per shot at 50% more damage against humans i use it against high level gunners and raiders lol. Both guns have 200+ range on them. I love these guns but nothing compares to the explosive minigun with the perks i had making it do 104 damage per shot....plus the explosions that would happen on each shot will do damage to enemies beside whatever youre shooting so the explosive mg is amazing to use against large groups packed together like ghouls and the like. It will literally mow through anything no matter what it is the only downfall is you cant use it in closed quarters because the explosions will do damage to you as well. i had added explosion resistance on my power armor for that very reason it helped alot. P.s. i play on ps4 w no mods

Wounding shotguns are also quite effective and scale well to late game if you have a Wounding Automatic Combat Shotgun, since wounding is applied to each projectile.

Another way to get the Final Judgement is by doing a quest called "Rockets' Red Glare" where you and Deacon blow up the Prydwen from the inside if you get spotted by the Brotherhood's solders Maxson and two brotherhood solders will be waiting where you meet maxson the first time on the prydwen.
