Kollin just exudes confidence! He KNOWS he's going to catch her. The flyers know it as well. Beautiful to see someone at the top of their game! It begins to look less like cheer and more like art!

I loved this! I loved the flyer version and there’s so much talent with bases and backs, I feel like there could be a list for all of them (backspots, main bases, side bases, and then coed stunts, so just one person base I guess that could count as a main base). I’ve always loved watching Bethany and Riley nail the one-person stunts. Just extra impressive to see such strong ladies!! And it made me happy to see Hailey here, I always admired how good of a base she was when she was Ally’s base on SE for all those seasons and then she was a great base for Ryan and Kenley (ken still). Her grips are amazing and she’s been nailing it for many years and with different flyers :)

I'm just curious as a non-cheerleader, how do you judge a base's/backspot's capability if you don't know them personally? I guess if you worked with them you could be able to tell and it's definitely impressive if you can do a long stunt sequence as a single base, but what are the criteria here exactly? It's a little easier to tell for flyers i guess

In this poll, we didn’t specify any criteria & left it up to the voters since it’s mostly for fun and not by any means a definitive list. In general you can “judge” them based on things like their grips, how they are catching and releasing stunts, posture, arm positions, how close they are working with their group, etc!
