Battlebots isn't the same without tombstone. even if he loses he makes matches look sooo fun! Either he wins because he gets outplayed/gets destroyed from his own force fast or the match is extremely interesting with big hits, sparks and parts flying everywhere. It's amazing!

I think carbide beats any bot on that list, you literally need a massive thick plate that’s has a very very strong base to block the spinner multiple times as the spin up time was always very fast from what I remember..

Pedro Scotta maybe because of the number of times that Matt Maxham (Stinger's creator) defeated Ray Billings, he even turned Last Rites (Tombstone's younger brother) in fire 3 times, the problem is the combat style of Stinger/Sewer Snake (Stinger's name when fights outside Battlebots) because Stinger/Sewer Snake can easily continue a fight without tires (he defeated Ray Billings with no tires), that in independent leagues can be razonable, but in Battlebots that style is a suicide thanks to the points system, just look how Mega Tento defeated Stinger via decision because Tento destroyed one tire. However, this is only speculation because this is 2019, maybe Ray Billing inverted more time in make Tombstone/Last Rites in a Stinger/Sewer Snake killer.

tombstone is a very destructive bot! In my opinion though ( and I definitely see why people may disagree) Tombstone can be beat relatively easily if you have a strong front wedge or shield of some kind. But again, that's just my opinion and I fully recognize that I can very well be wrong. Tombstone is a very powerful robot! :)

My fav is Razer because it wasn’t just a typical spinner or flipper and he could destroy pretty much any bot. I feel like he could dominate in todays robot wars as well, yes armour got thicker however we also have better technology for a hydraulic presses so if they could upgrade that they could easily pierce another bot. It already had 9 tons of bite on just that small point so thicker armour nowadays would probably break anyway just not as reliably.

I don't favor one particular series over another. I go by individual matches. Also, by narrowing it down to just Battlebots and Robot Wars you're actually missing out on a LOT of awesome matches that have occurred at live events in many different weight classes. Some of my favorite fights of all time have been Beetleweight matches.

I'm just putting this out there as a realistic top 10 list based on performance (for its time obviously) 1 Biohazard Completely dominated classic battlebots. 2 Chaos 2 Only robot to win back to back robot wars championships and was far ahead of its time. 3 Tombstone Clearly the best machine in modern battlebots. 4 Razer If it wasn't for reliability problems it would be 1 or 2 because it was that good for its time. 5 Carbide 3 top two spots in robot wars back to back. 6 Original Sin This is probably cheating but as one of the best of all time I don't care that it's not been on TV. 7 Tornado Tornado at its best would beat any machine of its time. 8 Vlad the Impaler 2 time battlebots champions. 9 Eruption 2 top two spots in robot wars back to back including being the current champion. 10 Storm 2 Would be higher if it wasn't for a certain judges decision.

i say carbide and tombstone and the best but carbide is better just because he's made from 4.5mm military grade steel / 8mm aerospace grade aluminium. Also his wheels are protected.

pretty sure that goes to bite force, especially since their one and only loss was a judges decision that they should have won...the excuse they had posted last time I looked it up was that the judges scored points for chomp every single time it swung it's pick/hammer/thing because they were told it had an automatic aiming system and had somehow failed to notice it constantly hitting the floor in all it's matches. inotherwords they outright said that their judges are completely incompetent to a cartoonish degree. chomp has won multiple fights on judges decisions where it never once made contact with it's weapon and spent ~80% of the fight time self-righting, as far as I know it has literally never lost a judges decision in battlebots. but that's only going on the televised fights, I never looked up the ones that didn't make it into an episode...assuming there _are_ any chomp fights that they didn't air. as near as I can tell they have essentially been making it the "heel" of the competition. Ziggo really was an awesome little bot, funnily enough it was also one of the cheaper bots there: the whole thing was just a drive train bolted to a slab of material with a pan over the top, it probably cost less to build and maintain the thing for a season than to buy the controller he operated it with. so often when people make a shell/ring/etc spinner they do everything they can to make the weapon as big as possible and essentially end up entering a floor hazard into the competition but all of the really successful ones have had a focus on moving around effectively. ^it used a Wok for it's shells, they just took off the handles and welded on wedge/teeth. ps: try looking up The Blender (bots iq), if you liked ziggo you'll love that thing too.

I'm late, but here's my list: 1: Chaos 2 This robot pretty much invented the gas powered flipper, was the first to get an oota, and (if I'm not mistaken) has the biggest win streak of any robot at 18! 2: Hypnodisc The chaos 2 of spinners, this robot currently holds the record for the most complete destruction of an opponent, only rivaled by Icewave. On top of that, Hypnodisc had the greatest fight of all time when it fought Bigger Brother. 3: Razer It won literally everything, including BattleBots. On top of that, they had the most precise driving of anyone in history; from 20 feet away, they could crush the speed controllers of a bot FIRST TRY. 4: Nightmare Of course the most iconic Battlebot has to make the list! 5: Bite Force If anyone is going to beat Chaos 2s win streak, it's this bot. There is practically no weakness to it! 6: Firestorm 1-5 Firestorm is interesting in that it used an off-meta weapon yet was so dominate with it. Only Hypnodisc rivals it as the best robot to never win Robot wars. But it's durability also can't be understated. In 5 fights, it fought Razer, pussycat, and Hypnodisc twice and was still moving! 7: Tornado Possibly the best ram bot of all time. Only Razer could really beat it. 8: Panic Attack The greatest underdog of all time. Be honest, even you forget panic attack when rewatching series 2! 9: tombstone Yeah... He had to go somewhere, I guess... 10: 101 Possibly the cheapest robot of all time, it only cost "a pound and a penny". But even with it's low cost, it is very effective, only losing to the most elite of opponents! Honerable mentions: Stinger (robot wars), for being the first good axlebot, wild thing, for being one of the most aggressive bots of all time, pussycat, for being so effective with a new design, biohazard, lockjaw, whiplash, dominator 2 for being one of the best axe bots ever, terrorhurtz (see dominator 2), and diotor, for being the original crowd pleaser.

Ray is an awesome guy and TS is a really good bot but I think it's easy mode (kinda quoted max from stinger here) to just spin up you weapon and drive into stuff until it breaks. I love robot combat for the different designs and ways you can win with. I'm a big fan of firestorm, I loved Panick Attack, Beta and of course spinners like Hypershock, Witch Doc and Aftershock. I even liked Axios and Scutters Revenge. HS are nice but a bit overhyped IMO. Nice Video tho :)

A top 10 classic, but never very lucky, but in Robot Wars, the first spinner that could really do damage, side panels, wheels, and battery across the arena was a classic Hypno move. Special mention also for Cassius, the original Robot Wars flipper bot, also with a truly balletic self righting.

10 carbide/tombstone the reason for these 2 being number 10 is the fact they have both lost due to the chain and have had some major issues during the competion and wouldn't be fair any higher 9 bronco it is the best flipper in the US but when you realise that not many flippers enter battle bots and has lost a few times just from pure driving skill 8 storm 2 it's a really durable robots with some insane speed to it and it has taken some of the biggest hits from spinners but it dosent really have a personality to it 7 sawblaze it is just a really well driven robot and it looks amazing bit I think it's match ups before the round of 16 and the world championships was just a bit to easy for them 6 chaos 2 it is one of the best robots from the UK in 2000s and was the first ever robot to OOTA and is the only UK robot to win the title twice back to back 5 monsoon/tauron mk4 it is the most unique vert I have seen and after seeing the tauron version do to poor smidsy at a live event this year it was just brutal 4 huge it is just insane and the only robots to beat it is bite force and ice wave that's just insane 3 ripper 2018 version it is with out a dought one of the best driven robots in the UK next to the likes of eruption and iron AWE 6 2 bite force it is a 2 time battle bots champion and the only vertical spinner to have enough force to flip a twice in the air in one hit 1 eruption after fighting against this robot twice it's just insane the driver is just insane and is the only flipper I have seen be able to flip of a 10kg wedge off and send the robot into the roof That's my list of the 10 robots in my opinion
