Blasphemous is not mentioned here because it’s story, lore, is not similar to Castlevania. Blasphemous is based on Spanish lore, with the inquisition, and it’s world is twisted by church sins and inquisition, not by fantastic hellish creatures and Dracula.

My biggest complaint with Bloodstained is it looks too good. They used a modern graphics style. I wish they would have made it look more like Lodoss War.

Scarlet Symphony isn't a metroidvania. Its a 2d platformer, but have no backtrack and exploration. It's a linear stage by stage game. Not sure about the rest though.

I actually lived through the time When these games were all we had And I for one am glad they’ve passed as far as we can do better. More than likely the fan games will never come out, aside from the Lecarde one...already waited a long time. Also, Silver Night's Crusaders controls absolutely SUCK! You cannot get them to work at all which is a big flaw in any Castlevania game and they need to fix this huge f up.
