For people who don't have phonix, but do have ultron, I had trouble beating Phonix+Ultron comps. But thanks to Black Widow I have a chance. I roll a Magneto/juggs/Vision/Untrol/Blackwidow setup, which i found pretty effective vs the new meta (top 20 teams) that are usually Phonix+ultron based. Usually in my bracket, the top 20 teams go something like this phonix+ultron+magneto+2 randoms, usually minerva/juggs/furry. Why blackwidow is so good for this setup, is because she gives vision the possiblity to go before enemy magneto (if he only has 1 brotherhood as an ally), and can put ability block on phonix. After that you go with disrupt on their ultron, take down their juggs with ultron and your juggs's ultimate ( your juggs will hit first due to your team getting blinded and not doing dmg to give turn meter). After you took out their juggs, you stun phonix (with BW) and focus on their ultron ( at this point your ultron is at the second minion wave), if minerva is in the enemy team, you take her out before ultron, if not go for ultron. If abilityblock + stun land on phonix, you will be left with 5 characters on the board vs phonix, which let me tell you :)) i lost, her AOE is to freaking OP, the developers really did a number on her, but normally i have my ultron resurect and end her. This team composition works against x-men also, the only time i have trouble is when they do a hibrid Phonix+mags+colosus+ultron, that's to much to control....Hope this helps someone, also did this cuz you removed her off the top 10 characters, which is a mistake, a character that can help take out the meta teams in the game, is still a very good character.

@@Boothrider06 A tip i don't usually say, @OhEmGee maybe this helps you aswell, if you ever find yourself losing 10-20 positions in arena in the last hour and not getting the rewards for the desired bracket, try ending up on the EDGE of the bracket. Example, you want rewards for 100-51, land on 100, you want rewards for 50-21, land on 50, 20-11? land on 20. The edge of the bracket is the safest place to be, i usually land on the edge 2 - 3 hours before the rewards giveaway, and I don't get pushed out. The reason is simple, and I think everyone of you thinks like this: almost everyone thinks that if they land up higher, the chances that they will be pushed out, are slimmer, which is totally false, because everybody thinks like that, you know who doesn't think like that? the guy at the 50 spot, or at the 20 spot, because nobody wants to be on the edge, one match and they are out, that's why that spot is very rarely attacked. I'm not saying you won't get pushed out of those spots, 100/50/20 but the time that happens is way higher. Also i didn't said anything about top 10, because there the positions shift even in the last 5 minutes. Ah, and as a end bonus tip, if you are one of the people who fight daily for those top 10 positions, in the last 5 minutes before the rewards, just join a random match, people won't be able to snipe your position if you are in a match. I’m using the full X men team in blitz with a 148k TP and I’m mopping 190-210k TP GOTG and defenders. I haven’t run into a fury shield team yet nor brotherhood but with the way things are going, I’m feeling pretty confident The X team would come on top!

Nobu suggestions... really focus on stealth since his basic can gain stealth. Unseen Army - If in stealth, minions spawn in stealth. Ready the Trap - If ally is in stealth, gain 2 counter. Secrets of Death - Allies revived gain stealth

Before minnerva came out, i sent a ticket in with a suggestion that his ult should revive all hand allies give counter and give deathproof. Would go along with his kit and the theme of undeath. Never came anything of it, ah well, would've been nice to update his kit. Fixing his ult will fix his garbageness

I think a nice upgrade to Nobu would be an AOE for his ultimate. He could attack all characters (including stealthed) for X% damage, then still apply counter to all allies.

Unfortunately refreshing the war and supply store are the only way to quickly get those orange uniques. I think I spent 300 cores a day for about 7 weeks to get my team of 5 characters to T13.

why are you saying the last tier blaster challenge is IMPORTANT? its terrible to get 1 orange abc instead of 6 purple abcs. End game players have over 3000 orange abcs from ftd. dont need them. everyone needs the purple abcs.

It’s not like you lose the ability to get purple ABCs. Once you max the challenge you can still choose to do lower tiers for the mats you want.

Minn just makes every team she’s on better. She’s op and I avoid any team with her in arena. I think you’re underrating Ms Marvel. She’s my second strongest character after a lucky 6rs Thor pull and she just works so great on so many teams. I play with her in Blitz. The team is JJ, BW, CM, MM, and Minn, and they just punch up so well. Plus it’s a fun mix to play with.

I've been using 400 cores/day refreshing the supply store and disappointed with mostly every refresh because it's rarely the uniques you need. Sometimes uniques don't pop up. However it does speed up the process for getting ultron. Along with uniques it's also important to buy regular orange gear like the health, and various tech as you need a bunch for minn-erva, Star lord and Rocket

Is it me or does the regen buff from shield open or medic not always heal right? Like I have had I 8 regen buffs and I only heal for maybe 1/4 of nick fury's health. Now my team is all t12 gear, shield op is at 6,6,4 and medic is at 6,6,5. Fury's minion ability is at 6.

I love my avengers team..Its hybrid...i use widow...cap. America...cap marvel...war machine..and Minerva..its at 179k....in arena I take up2 220k defenders...in blitz I o to max[50k difference] without a issue...and yesterday I took out a 270k in War...they are still on my list

Mabye they should just make the hand’s “thing” insanely fast speed. They only deal good damage with their specials but since they go so fast they’re able to charge em up faster

My alliance just played this past war against a couple Phoenix X-Men squads and they are awful on defense I don't know if it's broken or not but if you kill Phoenix and she becomes dark Phoenix and kills your team next round she does not respawn in so it actually makes it really easy to sack a boost with a okay team focus Phoenix down cause her to change die and then easily wipe 4 people with a okay team

I agree kinda a win I more only bring it up because I think it is a terrible bugged flaw the entire point of the character is dark Phoenix and if on defense once she turns to dark Phoenix she no longer exist for the next defense match it's BS she should at least spawn next round as dark Phoenix or at least just reg but instead she is just gone

I was very disappointed in the End Game update. Nothing was done for avengers aside from a tweet to hulk. Your good avengers don’t even all go on the same team! Which is why Black Widow ends up a sort of orphanages character

it hurts but u should refresh 3 times a day or it will take u years to get the gear. if u have to dont use cores for energy if your saving cores. i almost have all the gear i need after refshing 3 time a day for about 2 months

Yes, Avengers especially Cap & Widow have dropped off. Widow can still be useful but teams are so much faster now and with different opening plays (Cap Marvel/Magneto/XMen) that she’s just not a great asset. It’s sad

Unfortunately u need to refresh the shop with cores to get the uniques/common orange gears. My progress to get 5 to g13 was significantly faster after i refresh my shop. It was going nowhere waiting for the 6 hours reset without refreshing.

Lots of people don't like Captain Marvel she's not a very interesting character she's had a really bad issue with poor writing in her comic books and Marvel attempting to force her down people's throats and not doing so with quality writers which is why her comic books continue to struggle and get canceled and relaunched... ironically the character was a lot more liked and well-received when she was Miss Marvel more of a side character and just a team member rather than a forced character in team leader this is where her personality begin to change a little bit and she came off as very Bitchie and pushy and as I mentioned before she has the bad luck of being written by some of the worst writers in the professional comic book writing industry... if Captain Marvel wasn't so forced and Marvel wasn't attempting to make her their Wonder Woman and they actually put some of their talented writers on her she would likely grow again in popularity but a big ditch has been dug

Ok. I get Nobu is needed to get Phoenix. But this is supposed to be a "best charachers' list right? Not a "characters you need to unlock others" list. Nobu is one of the worst characters in the game, apart from AIM and Hydra. The only thing I consider worse than needing Nobu to get Phoenix is the fact that I have 3 6-red star characters (I recently saw your rant on mods and red stars and I couldn't agree with you more), and one is Scientist Supreme 😑
