There are some mistakes in your attack: - you cant spread your attacks, stick to 1 target until it is dead in this node 1st priority is Dr Strange. - Nick Fury should be away from minnerva, cause sometimes operative will steal taunt and chains can reach minnerva. - minnerva's ult should be saved for a healing emergency, in this node is Ok to overuse it, but next ones is not. and a final comment pyro is not that useful here nor is thanos.

Carlos Ubajoa i agree with everything you said expect one thing yes killing strange first is good but in ftd you don't know when the next wave is coming so I suggest that he gets everybody low and kill one by one or with mn aoe

fhmn_88 _otb usually it's not more than 5 targets that triggers the next wave to come and therefore killing strange at the start is definitely worth it since his special will flip all buffs which is very bad if that happens. Also, I'd recommend killing the low targets without minnerva ult so even if new ones will spawn, if you get damaged too heavily, you still have minn ult up and can kill all low targets either way. Otherwise if you use your ult and the new wave deals a ton of damage you will not have minnerva's ult up to save everyone.

Radicalftw good point. But without shield assault his crit chance is only 10% meaning he'll only give minnerva an average of 1 abillity energy in 10 turns where you use your basic.

Started Wednesday night last week, finished Sunday morning. Work got in the way or I could have been done Saturday. Tip, always use Starlord’s blind unless Minnerva already has her ultimate waiting. Don’t waste a turn without getting that blind energy. I used rocket and captain marvel instead of pryo and fury. I know you’re supposed to save adamantium for Ultron. But I just wanted to unlock him. Captain Marvel was a life saver with her binary passive.

You should always do Star-Lords Blind, because it feeds Minerva energy. So you want to do that attack as much as posible.

chadro83 you should be somewhat tactical with it though. Worst feeling in FTD is when you use it just to feed Minnerva energy, and then the very next turn someone dropped down that you absolutely need to blind and don’t have it ready.

Scarlet witch is good to keep alive because she will redistribute health and with minns ult you can evenly cut down hp bars its super usefull, means taking out priority targets easier

Hey trevor tip for next time u do this node on timed, strange will use flip for 1 buff, so hold summons till turn 2 from fury. And strange will flip any other positive u have. Also u need a tank, w.o rocket groot is useless. Unless u have an auto taunt like security. Also you can quit out and re fight over and over again for better rng or better understanding of the node. Just got Ultron 7* 3or 4 days ago...Thanks for all the vids bruh! Your awesome!

Also if u didnt know during most of FtD when u get it knock down to 4 people or less new enemies will come in. I suggest spreading ur damage out when u get down to 5 enemies to kill all simultaneously and get ur abilities ready for the next drop

Ideally you want Capt and Security, and based on node, alternate between them. That was a good run without a protector. Minn Erva, you need to save the full heals, if everyone is green you are wasting it. Even with SL, the cool down is long.

The biggest challenge I see with your current team is the lack of dispels. You only have Pyro and Fury operative summons to clear taunts. When I went through, my only 2 dispels were Captain America and Fury operative as well. Unfortunately for me, Captain's focus sucks so he got shield toss resisted a lot. I think your pyro has better focus, so it should be less problematic. All in all, you have a good team and Pryo will so well for most of FtD, however he does struggle on one of the later Deadpool nodes for obvious reasons. In any regard, so glad to see you've started your journey and wish you luck on your path.

Something that work for me pretty good: having minerva don't focus on 1 enemy at a time, but decrease all enemies health similarly, so when they all are less than 10% and you use mass phlebotomy, all will die. Then when the new wave comes, you dont have still several enemies from the previous wave.

Issue is u dont wanna go into the fresh drop without her ultimate... I'd recommend you bring em all simultaneously however holding her heal till the new drop would benefit more. Especially if u have auto taunter and an aoe damage dealer like a rocket

I just started FTD two days ago and currently on node 11 with Red Skull. The team I am using from left to right is Shield Security, Thanos, Nick Fury, Minn-Erva, and Starlord. Minn-Erva is absolutely necessary for FTD. Nick Fury is great because of the minions and spreading his buffs. The only issue I have is that sometimes his minions spawn near Starlord and take the energy that is meant to go to Minn-Erva. Other than that the two tanks are amazing in soaking in that damage. I am 1 Alien Spore away from g13 Groot and will be swapping him in for Thanos. I could see that cleanse becoming a god send as well as the defense up and deathproof. I will warn you now, node 10 is an absolute nightmare. Took me 1 hour to complete it last night. Good luck in your runs everyone!

I beat node 1 of Fear the Darkness yesterday, and it said I was ranked 12000. I thought that was interesting that that is how many people either have Ultron or are working on Ultron and will have him soon. It made me wonder how many people are actively playing this game.

I beat it with Defenders in 24 days. I T13ed Minn-Erva half way through. 2nd time took me 5 days to beat it (T13ed Ultron on day 4). Then beat it in 2 days with Deminntron team (i.e. IF, LC, JJ, Minn-Erva, and Ultron).

jared turner yeah but that's mainly cause it's very time consuming. If you have nothing to do for a day and wanna spend it for ftd then you won't be able to do that with phoenix as with minnerva. Also, if I remember correctly she drains a maximum of 300% of her max health? I think foxnext did that since they realised the potential of minnerva's ult in ftd lol.

For those of you looking for one of the best teams I beat it first day in 12hrs with the Blitz buff so essentially on hard mode. SL - Rocket - Groot - Minny - Juggs. Best alternative is to use Cap in place of juggs or JJ in place of juggs. Prioritizing damage is a really bad idea. You need to control the fight.. pay attention to cooldowns from your enemies, and do not blow Minny's ultimate just for damage. In a turn or two you'll be regretting it later on in FTD.

I personally don't like rocket that much since minnerva is already an insane damage dealer and in ftd you want to have survivability as your first priority.

@@FurryDanOriginal It's not about the damage. Rocket can keep Groot taunting during instances where Jug can't taunt or maybe Minnerva is low. That also prompts 2 further amazing parts of this team in that Groot has a chance to revive, and spreads buffs upon death. Then Minnerva brings Groot back... boom. My team beat FTD in roughly 6 hours without Ultron 1-shotting each node. So my opinion is purely based off of my successful experience with it.

Josh Del Sesto I don't know how long my team needed but I did every node (except for the last) in 1 attack each too. I used ss, groot, nf, mn, sl. But I gotta admit that the groot taunt tactic is pretty good espacially since you technically get 1 free protector which you're using anyways. I just really like ss since he taunts whenever it's actually needed and doesn't spend an abillity for that since it's his passive. And if he should get low I can save him with my minnerva. It was a pretty big pain in the ass though since I only got 1r* for him lol.

I just started my 1st run this past Saturday. these nodes take at least 15 min and get longer. Really only have a desire/time to do one node a day. I can see why it takes a few weeks to finish this mode bc it is very time-consuming. A tank/protector will help u out a lot. also, u likely could have beaten the rest of the few guys with just the team u had left/don't let minn death stop u from finishing a node if ur really close. good luck to u and everyone else in the mode.

It's all store rng get u Groot mini jj security sl that's your 14 day 2 full clear 7 star Ultron team. Right there only cores u need if u want to is the Ultron node 250 cores per run all other nodes can be 1 shot with this team

many are doing it with nf instead of jj (including me) since her and groot having a debuff clense is a little redundant and the minions of nf are often really helpful, but I see the idea of using jj for getting minn's ult up even faster. It's just that she gives a lot more abillity energy with defenders and for other allies it's also random targets which she gives the abillity energy to and it's therefore a little inconsistent.

You shouldn't use groot's Death Proof if Nick Fury spreads it because it's kind of a waste also you should think about not using Minerva's ultimate when you don't need to because it's kind of a waste as well

palmerther honesty, the nodes don't get that much harder except for the very last one with ultron. I was able to do the first 15 nodes with 1 attack each. Edit: I was running the same team as him except I was using nf instead of jj. Jj would've been my second choice but sl seems like the main battery and jj is also quite inconsistent with her giving abillity energy to random targets and also a lot less than you're used to with defenders while you can place sl the right way to only give abillity energy to minnerva with his special. His passive can fill minnerva even more or himself which is good since he gets to use his special sooner again. And her special seems a little redundant with groot's ult though it can definitely be useful. I just don't think her overall usage is as big as nf's. When having enough summons on the field which is a lot easier with groot giving deathproof, you have a lot of clensing abillities + slow and stun and survivability since you have more targets on the field which minimizes the chance of your main ones being hit.

Question: Your minn is healing the whole team all the way. My minn does not heal anywhere near that much. Mine is g12+3, 6,6,6,4, 4* with two red stars. Why is yours healing soooo much more?

Because she takes 15% of all opponents health and shares that amongst the team along with a small amount. In Fear The Dark, the enemies all have massive health, so 15% of massive health x lots of enemies = full health for you each time she does it. It all depends on the max health of the characters she's attacking.

She steals a procentage of the enemies health and distributes it to allies. Since they the ones he is fighting have so much health and there are many on the field, it's more than enough to heal his 5 up to full health. That's why minn is important for ftd, and ofcourse the revive.
