Number 5 and 1 where seriously good, We just finished Lost You Forever, but was way to slow, beautiful, but the dialogues where too long and boring. I finished it in case season 2 is better with a faster pace. Back from the Brink, starry Love and The longest Promise are still on our list. All the others where seriously boring or bad acting and didn't even finish them.

SPOILER ALERT Lost You Forever PART 2. Read only if you don’t mind spoiler. 😬 I fell into K & C drams by accident. Its become both a blessing and a curse. Ha ha. HUGE fan of the many talented, gorgeous, sweet actors but man, the stories and some endings will just bring you to your knees. 🫣😭. My first C drama Til The End Of The Moon was like that but also intoduced me to my first C drama love, Luo Yunxi. That man’s eyes 👀 and expressions are just captivating. His beautiful soul shines out through those eyes….The man as well as the actor. Lost You Forever brought me to my next wonderful surprise, Tan Jianci. Like Luo’s portrayal of Tantai Jin, Tan’s character & his portrayal of him is mesmerizing. TJ just has such an “intense” energy he gives off as Xiang Liu and it’s magnetic, hypnotizing, you literally cannot look away from those EYES. Angry sexy, dangerous, vulnerable, sad, yearning, kind, sweet laughing eyes….The man and the character are heartbreakingly gorgeous on every level and that “voice” singing every time they come together in the drama and part again is hauntingly beautiful. This is the first time I’ve seen him and his portrayal is mesmerizing both because he can truly be cruel but also strong, loyal, kind and vulnerable. It was nail biting frustrating watching him constantly step back from her. Almost foreshadowing the grief of unfulfilled love. I’m soooooo bummed I can’t watch season 2 knowing what happens. Watching this gorgeous, mega talented man again was really something to look forward to. Til The End Of The Moon and Luo Yunxi already broke my heart into a thousand pieces. I’m running out of glue here people! For this outstanding, intense, complicated, beautiful character and Tan’s interpretation of him to be killed (don’t care if its in the book, CHANGE IT!), then there is no reason to go LOOKING for more heartache in my life with these soul crushing endings. I just can’t…. These drama writers create the most dynamic, memorable, couples that live through hell and STILL kill one off in the end leaving you sitting there mouth hanging open, tears and snot flying, heart cracking wide open and crushed ruining your chance at a good mood for the next week. Like WHHHYYY? 😳 Seriously, do Chinese writers not believe in happy endings?! 😂 There are many good life lessons in C and K dramas I never expected to learn. An extra blessing. The messages of love, compassion, kindness, fiercely protecting those that can’t protect themselves, wanting unity, peace & prosperity for all, self-sacrifice, laughter, family, friends, freedom, discipline, commitment, strong character. These movies/shows/stories/actors/music have been surprising, reminding me that we can find inspiration from the most unexpected places? 🧐. In a land of oppression and rigidly tight controls these noble truths in life are still alive and well among the oppressed and shared with the world to keep the flames of a free soul lit, never extinguished. That’s a big part of their appeal as well, the journey to become stronger to make the world a better place, choosing love and freedom as the guiding principles for the strength needed to overcome massive odds. Bravo people, bravo…👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 However, as much as I adore these movies and shows, I am aware of the…difficulties and sometimes harsh judgements these actors are subjected to. I do hope “netizens” can begin to better appreciate these amazing people without attacking them for the slightest perceived mistake. They are human. None of us is perfect but the insane standards and expectations within the Chinese and Korean entertainment industry can be extremely damaging to the very people netizens claim to love. A re-evaluation of what really matters is needed in both countries. They work very hard for their craft to bring these amazing performances to us all. That gift of inspiration and beauty should never be taken for granted, nor should the people who are gracing us with this gift….
