It’s hard to beat the Rattler, Fang, Night Raven, or Firebat for me. I really couldn’t pick a favorite amongst them. They all were terrific and filled different roles. Also loved the Trouble Bubble.

Great list! I had the skull skadron plane from robotech and subbed that in as a cobra 'secret experimental machine' back in the day. All of those cobra aircraft are classics!!

There was a grey reverse wing jet . Big ,cool . Mum gave it away , i was not happy . Joes forward sweeping wings , grey .

Yes the Cobra Night Raven easily number 1 and one that wasn't included which came later and is underrated is the Cobra Liquidator

Oh, if only we'd gotten a Cobra cargo copter, either the one from the comics OR the cartoon, which I would've preferred. Great list, but for me, and I know it's interchangeable, the Night Raven is just a bit cooler than the Rattler. That being said, Wild Weasel is in my top 10 Cobra figures of all time on his own..

For the worst list, that Cobra plane that shot water.... In 93? The Joes got one too, and you can tell Hasbro had gone totally cheap at that point.

The 1992 Liquidator Should have a place on the List , and 1988 the Cobra Stellar Stiletto .

The top 3 are all excellent. I have the Rattler and the Mamba but not the Night Raven. It's close to a 3 way tie for me. In my opinion, Wild Weasel is the best Cobra pilot figure, followed by the Strato Viper, then the Gyro Viper.

I broke my first Rattler putting it together, so I had my mama take it back to Kmart and say it was broken in the box. I didn't make the same mistake with the 2nd one. LOL

I don’t know what order I would rank the Cobra aircraft, but I know the Liquidator is in the top five. It should be the standard Cobra fighter that goes up against the Skystrikers.

The Fang was so irritating because of those missiles, but I can respect its history. Regardless, the Rattler deserves the one spot.

As an adult, The fact that the FANG just had a simple "stick" and no cockpit glass makes no sense. LOL

What the Rattler is based on, the A-10 Warthog, cannot be beat in real life. In fact the only thing keeping it from being perfect is actually having the ability to hover. And I have to ask about adding two ducted fans to it.

I would add the Cobra Liquadator to the list. Not Top Tier but upper middle at least.

Nightraven is the most beautiful Gi Joe/cobra aircraft. It and the rattler are great airplanes. Realistic. The Condor is neat, but I don’t get it’s two separated modes. I can’t figure out where the intakes and exhaust are and the the two haves don’t have proper lift and maneuverability wings. And while the windows for viewing the bombs is cool for a toy, why would you want glass covers on your bomb bay?

Where is the top and or all classic joes with pets list... a lot joes were bought on pets. From outlaw mutt snake eyes got a dog dusty got a cat a cobra eel got a sting ray . There was boar. A falcon and eagle the pararrot
