Well you should be getting the season passes anyway. Great value. If you dont then ur spending 6k tokens in the long run. No game is truly free. And if your getting the passes not only do you get the rewards with it you get a really great card. Soo y would you want the season pass to suck??

I’m seeing almost no Surtur on the ladder. I played it for a minute, but I think maybe people don’t find the deck as fun to play? I’m climbing pretty consistently with Misery / Phoenix Force. It’s nice that the large number of bots means you don’t have to play super optimally to hit infinite. Will be interested to see if post infinite is just Surtur + Counters because he is indeed absolutely cracked.

Depends on region you are in and what deck you use? I find when I use my surtur deck I'm more likely to match with mirror surtur players every 2nd game but if I swap to a Discard deck I'll go 5 games or so before seeing surtur again

Nice to see a fellow Canadian ruling the Snap universe!! 😊. I like this Frigga deck. I altered it slightly to have Jean Grey & Mojo combo. So fun/evil to force the opponent into your Mojo lane only to Turn 6 buff everything with Spectrum.

I believe the problem with Asgard deck is that Thor into Beta into Jane is almost always the play you want to go for, it's a tight curve that leaves no room for Frigga. You only want to play Frigga when you don't have that 3 card combo. Also, drawing the hammers to actually copy them in inconsistent and off curve, and it gives a lot of information to the opponent, so they can just retreat, which doesn't give you much cubes.

im just taking this season off. Power creep and pay to win cards are killing the F2P side of things for me. Also, taking a break is only gonna hurt if i decide to come back with how cards acquisition is. Its almost impossible for a new or returning player to "catch up" without spending loads of money and even then your limited on what cards you can get when you want them.

What? The longer you wait to come back, the easier it is to get new cards. Spotlight weeks would have multiple new cards for you. Your 4 keys would go further. Its actually smart to wait. I waited for months before I began pulling spotlight caches and it paid off big time. Every week was 2 new cards.

I ended up adding Echo into my Surtur decks (instead of Psylocke) as she helps against things like US Agent. Plus she's another 1 cost to be able to play out Cul Obsidian.

I’ve had a rough time playing Surtur and I fully believe this is because I don’t have Cull Obsidian :( i’ve almost bought that card several times since it came out, but I’m almost positive it’s dropping in December, so I refuse to spend potentially an extra 3k tokens on it

Alex is overstating Surtur quite a bit. He's good, he's fun to play, and I love that he solidifies a new archetype by bridging the gap from turn 2 to turn 4 for the Bulky Boyz. BUT he's far from meta-shattering, and he doesn't need a nerf at all. Besides numerous hard counters (obviously Shang-Chi, Shadow King, & Affliction decks) there are also many decks that simply outpower a Surtur deck's best draw - which is a huge reverse implied odds snap-equity thing. Listen to Lamby talk more about Surtur if you want the real lowdown on this card.

Honestly because of the skarr deck being do popular thanks to fire pants. Ive been using a toxic deck that uses frigga sbd for the most oart it pretty much castrates that deck. Sliver sable, scorpion, us agent, Cassandra and frigga, there's no cards over 8 power left

How many cubes a deck wins or loses on average. For example some decks have high winrates but it's obvious when they're winning, so often people retreat and they only get 1 cube

Gladiator actually counters sutur plays since sutur only goes up when you play the 10 or higher.....gladiator has screwed over my Surtur as it pulls my skarr/red Hulk rather than letting me play them to get the Buff (no surtur Buff when pulled by enemy)

As a new player, these creators flexing them Variants are just sus :( I had to look closely to see what the cards are i wish they cud just use the original card version. Not to mention the game favors big spenders, gudluck building a decent deck. Either forced to use a crappy Ongoing or Zoo deck. Acquiring cards is like awesome time in HELL. 😂

I think most people that complain about busted cards want to have everything given to them in videos like this. Like if Surtur decks are becoming a problem for you, just run Scorpion and Cassandra Nova. Literally makes the deck unusable. Every new busted card has a clear counter that usually just takes adding a specific card (which most times is Series 3) to any of your decks

The Surtur stats is not telling the full story. Its that high bc its just a lot of Surtur mirror matches right now and someone wins. Time will tell. For now, i still maintain Surtur is solid (not broken, agent venom is easily stronger.) but decks are just okay decks. Easily outmuscled. It's not difficult to beat unlike something like Mill or Arishem. Meeting a lot of mill and Arishem last few hours. I reckon they've emerged bc the Surtur decks are all over.

Mirror matches do not increase the win rate, they reduce the win rate if it was above 50% before. I don't know which illness you have that you start blabbering about random "sample sizes" haha. It's literally pre highschool understanding of numbers. Jesus Christ, there is only garbage in this community left after most people quit
