I once had a McD FoF. Even with tartar sauce, it was bland as frack, but still better than what they pass of as burgers. Most of these places cheap out with pollock, so it was nice to see a few use cod fillets. I was sad to see that you did not use the classic Montgomery Burns "Let the fools have there tar-tar-sauce" clip from the Simpsons. Nor the original Monty Python interlude scene from Meaning of Life, instead of the cartoon version. Maybe next time. Cheers.

I like the Bojangles fish sammich for 3.49. They always cook it fresh and tell you the wait will be 5 to 6 minutes, and it is fresh. Tell them to omit the tartar sauce, it tastes like nothing. Get a small side of their cole slaw and a cup of the signature Bo sauce they give out for their chicken. Put the slaw on top of the fish, add some Bo sauce however much you want, and bang you have a great sammich

The whole video was very misleading. For the McDonald's fish sandwich, a massively good-looking fish sandwich is shown. For other fish sandwiches, gross things are shown that make the otherwise good sandwich look gross. It seems that this video is trying to use trickery to get people to like sandwiches for reasons other than which is the best. McDonald's fish filet is totally gross, and yet, the pictures make it out to be something that it has never been, is not now, and never will be in the future.

I've tried McDonald's and Burger King Fish sandwich. I prefer Burger King's Fish sandwich. I've also worked both fast food restaurants in different locations. The McDonalds fish sandwich has barely any tartar sauce, the bun is too chewy like dough and has half a slice of nasty cheese. I like the Burger King Fish sandwich over McDonald's any day.

Wow arbys made top 3. Wow I’m shocked y’all did our fish. Oh fun story this guy ordered 6 fish sandwiches and we had 2 people order 3 fish so 12 fish total and we had to park the guy upfront and we made it for him. I walked out his order and he yelled at me because I had to park him. He was so mad I said “sir have a good day” and walked away and he said “I’m gonna kick your ass kid” so I said “sir your fish is getting cold I’d eat them before you lost their good taste” and he left. But he was a Jackass.

McDonalds fish is the only one I know of that's available all year. Unfortunately in my area we don't have good fish like at Long John Silvers. Unfortunately most of the photos you show of this sandwich aren't representative of what you'll get if you order one! I have never gotten one with "melted cheese" and they are always buried in too much tartar sauce to the point it gushes out all over you when you pick it up or bite into it. I can't understand why you and MASHED rave all over McDonalds food!

First of all, don't deep fry a flour sponge coated filet. This is a waste of animal food chain precious life. Bake or fry it like a human. Then maybe a light sauce. And do not over compensate by salting the heck out of the already tasty grilled fish steak. And don't even think of ruining the bake method with lemon zest and white pepper. Maybe a buttered Texas grilled toast for buns would be a semi crunchy compliment. no pickles. no onions. no lettuce. hey. wake up. And never ever default to serving with cheese. Oh and the Texas style toasting should only be on the inside. The outside should remain softer. Sauces are for dipping. Don't be stupid. Why can't fast food ever make a good fish sandwich????? The only place I can think of that would have the courage to represent and serve never frozen fish steaks on a bun would be(fill in the blank) and finally the reason why a bun is nefarious at the point of consuming a fish sandwich is that the carbs are in the bun. Ever heard of fish and chips instead assaulting the body with even more flour?
