"Pyro VR" by Virtual Light VR is another great fireworks simulation that's VR and supports Vive and Occulus. It's no longer updated but still a great sandbox simulation with very realistic fireworks effects.

For me the advantage for fwsim is they listen to their customers/users. Always update the program. Also the community is quite big.

I would consider adjusting your comments on FWSim. You reference no smoke -- not true. They offer a version outside of steam that does have smoke, improved graphics and 1000+ more effects than Steam. Maybe make a disclosure that you're referencing Steam version only for clarity to your audience.

Hi, Lukas here from FWsim. Quick correction to your comment: All versions have smoke - but the smoke is only available when you export a video. It is not available in the live view. There is no difference between the editions when it comes to smoke. (We want to imrpove that and offer live smoke in the future)

wrong fireworks mania have been alot better now it has 4 maps and also music mods you can download and if you have a difficult time with lag there i advance you to switch a computer to a better one since i have far from the best laptop and can play in 144 to 145 fps there on ultra even on pretty big shows
