One of kind sound. When ever anyone plays a Lynch lick it stands out. All the great guitarist had there own signature sound. Lynch is one of those guys. Up there with Eddie , Satch, Rhodes ect.. True pioneer. My band Damaged Things is playing with George Lynch and Lynch Mob this July 13 at Holy Diver in Sacramento CA. Can't wait to share the stage with them.

Heaven sent solo was the best he ever did. They’re all great, but that one was epic. It was perfection

The lead guitar in _Heaven Sent_ is certainly among my favourites for sure. As is typical in most of Lynch's solos the phrasing is phenomenal.

in the "In My Dreams" solo, look at the 8-9 fret stretch he plays at the end. He has huge hands. That is huge asset. Most people imitate that solo and tap the higher frets.

As a parting shot, let's hear it for the special appearance by "The Guitar Buddy Throw & Go Wrap Around Guitar Trainer", complete with "Whammy Neck"!!! Some of you will get that....

You put together some of the best solos and it blended well. I haven’t been on a George Lynch kick for years because he really hasnt done anything I guess. Maybe he’s had enough, I don’t know. Anyway this is a great piece. I desperately want George to do a blue rock album such as what Zack W has been doing for years. Georges thick guitar sound would be incredible and would love to hear him slow it down with that sound. He could still do it. I wanted to see Eddie VH do it but the only thing he did that was blues rock sounding is a Toto song and Ed was bad ass on that song. Look it up. He’s playing Hold the Line and just sounds incredible

@@thweatt22 Seems as though they didn’t do well because the name isn’t that big and I didn’t know anything about it. Lunch also is running through some pedals that give him a thin sound. I would be glad to hear a different sound from him as long as it’s full distortion and a thick guitar sound. This sound of the entire band just doesn’t have a full rich sound to it

I love Lynch but EVH paved the way for every modern rock player from 1978 - current. The kids learning to play today know the real players. I see them on here learning Lynch and EVH. Not a great way to learn but at least they respect the best. EVH was in a class of his own.
@user-JamesRowe515029 ай бұрын
Always played through to much delay in every single solo lynch and delay is like Hammet and wah wah pedal
@matthewpaolini2 жыл бұрын
A lot of these solos should no have made it. These are my pics, not in any specific order. Tooth and Nail, Wicked Sensation, Kiss of Death, Heaven Sent, In My Dreams, Into the Fire, Paris is Burning (the solo for the song, not intro), Lightning Strikes, Dream Warriors, Walk Away. Other honorable mentions, "The Hunter", "When Heaven Comes Down", Currently, Lynch is a different player. Like most players as they mature, they lose the "spark" when they were in their zone years ago. He couldn't play these solos now.
@dylankendall93549 ай бұрын
Heaven sent solo is so fucking good though.... How could it not make the list.
@matthewpaolini9 ай бұрын
@@dylankendall9354 I agree. That's one of my favorite. Have you seen Lynch now in interviews? He can't play like that anymore. He's just a difference player from living life. He's been there and done that. Just like many other players. Even though guitar playing is a smaller niche, he showed some greatness. But EVH was the best IMO. Just for being an innovator. Not to mention, his playing and what he was doing in the late 70's. Unreal.
