Ok I don’t know why it took so long but I’ve only just discovered this channel and the videos are amazing. So professionally done I’m just binging through my entire childhoods worth of toy franchises! Cap Wolf got mostly positive reviews on Instagram. I tried switching out the hands for clawed hands when I put the Hugh Jackman head on but those Coulson hands did not want to come out of the arm holes.

The 2014 Guardians Wave Nova I think was the first really great figure they did since relaunching the line. Also the Hobgoblin wave Daredevil deserves a spot for finally getting that character right.

Some well deserved love for Archangel! If only Hasbro had yet created matching fisted or even flying hands for the Bucky Cap mold at that point. That figure has been in my own top ten for quite some time. Great list, Dan! More X-Men than I expected to see. Good thing you didn't throw the new Sue Storm/HERBIE on here. Otherwise, Marvel probably would have served you a cease and desist.

The new ANAD spiderman that came in the 2 pack should get an honorable mention. They retooled his leg articulation so it wasn't as limited as pizza spidey, and a Parker head. Although he doesn't have a pizza slice, he came with a MJ which is even better ;))

The only gripe I have with the pizza Spider-Man is the red paint as it chips way to easily and the new two pack with MJ has the same issue.

The new marvel legends invisable woman is now one of the best imo same with the kitty pryde and rogue figure...Just got to the part where you have rogue on the list! That makes me so happy that I'm not the only one that thinks that figure is incredible! Actually most of the figures from the juggernaut baf line were great... I wish I could get my hands on the jubilee storm and the jubilee figure herself for that matter! I'm probably gonna get the knockoff jubilee for 39 dollars on ebay. Edit: I just got to the spot where you agree that the juggernaut wave is one of the best! I'm proud to own all the figures from that wave! The baf itself wasn't all that great tho, I prefer to display the diamond/marvel select juggernaut.

The day Marvel Legends makes the Japanese Spiderman Takuya Yamashiro is the day I start investing in the line. The build a figure better be Leopardon I tell you.

Yamashiro gets no love. All we really have so far is a Soul of Sofubi posable statue that was a pack-in with the Soul of Chogokin Leopardon. It's a simple Marvel Legends to make that capitalizes a lot on the prominence of the character and his mech in Spiderverse

I sadly stopped. :'( After the prices in my country for marvel Legends went too high. Here in a small island nation, prices of the ToyBiz era action figures were about the same price in the US. But now, each figure costs about 2000 Philippine Pesos retail. That would be around $40 US more or less. Plus Marvel Legends are as hard to find like Legendary Pokemons in the local Toys "R" US and retail Toy Stores.

I've scaled back quite a bit. It seems like every year we're getting less and less for our $20. As collectors it's up to us to send the message that these prices for what we're getting are at the breaking point and that's for US buyers. I can't imagine how much worse their business is internationally with additional markups.

I was VERY lucky to have a friend who was running a toy selling website at the time and he happened to have one leftover and hooked me up. I still paid more than regular retail, but not the inflated prices that he quickly jumped up to.

Right, well I get it, the most important and culturally relevant marvel legends, and in many ways the game changers that set new benchmarks for what the line could do. I guess even though I think figures like chameleon, Angela, and dazzler are improveing the line. Most people won't recognize them. And in chameleons case, thats his job.

Totally agree. The head sculpts on same of the latest waves are astonishing. I love the new 2 and 3 piece heads and helmets. I literally almost put Darkhawk on this list but thought I would get laughed off KZbin (and not the good kind of laughing). It's a really looking action figure even with the wonky 2-part wings and the claw and the fact that no one cares about Darkhawk.
