What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.
Although the game tends to fluctuate in concurrent rankings, Jailbreak is considered the default most popular game on Roblox due to the length of time that it has remained near the top spot on the front page. However, this is also influenced by Badimo's strategic planning for releasing updates. It gained strong competition in early 2019 with the release of Mad City, a very similar cops-and-robbers style game. Jailbreak's massive success has resulted in winning 13 awards at the 5th Annual Bloxy Awards 2018. Counting collective sales of microtransactions and gamepasses, Jailbreak has earned over 1B Robux in revenue (which translates to over US$3,000,000 through DevEx).
Jailbreak takes heavy inspiration from Prison Life by Aesthetical and Redwood Prison by RoyStanford, but focuses more on gameplay outside the prison. It credited with causing noticeable losses to both games, with Prison Life and Redwood Prison both losing nearly half of their players since Jailbreak came out. This is especially unusual because both Prison Life and Redwood Prison came out long before Jailbreak. As an indirect result of this, Jailbreak has also seen significant criticism compared to Prison Life & Redwood. This is largely caused by the gameplay being criticized as stagnant after being seen at or near #1 on the Popular section of the Games page for years.
Seasons are Jailbreak events that offer limited-time vehicles, customization items, and other prizes for leveling up and collecting XP. There have been two distinct formats used over the years, with the original season system used from the 2018 Winter Update to the 2020 Winter Update, and the revamped system following that and currently ongoing.

Cool video. Btw, the volt bike had 2 revamps: The first one (with op offroading) was added to the game in the 2018 winter update, this was made because the volt bike sometimes did UFO on laggy players. That update ruined the volt bike forever, because it didnt ufo very frecuently and it lost its decent offroading

I dont know if these are the best updates, but imo teo biggest updates of Jailbreak were 2018 live event and train fixing update. 2018 live event was the first of its kind in the whole platform and really showed whats possible in Roblox. Train patch update was huge because since the beginning of times, self-moving objects had caused massive amounts of lag in Roblox games when more than 10 people were in a server. Fixing the cargo train showed that you can have a feature that moves around the map without it making the game unplayable.

One of my favorites was the new combat update with the better 3rd person camera. Other one was most likely the new map expansion.

One of my favourite updates was the rocket fuel one, it didn't added a lot (the rocket fuel [obviously], the UFO and a temporary all thematic map about rocket fuel and aliens) but before the update there where leaks and screenshots of the update, that hyped me a lot

My favourite update was the j store update. I remember all the hype and grinding for the bugatti veyron was so fun. I also really liked the old j store I was very annoyed when I was first revamped. BRING BACK THE OLD J STORE!!!

You forgot the first garage revamp,before that you were not able to upgrade the engine,change the suspension and a lot more,it was also a revamp of crates, it added all new textures because the old ones were ugly and added the portable garage gamepass. I remember that I was so exited to the update lunch of the update,I had a lot of hype

Mine was the update where they added brand new gun schemes. (Our old gun schemes) they also added new bullet sounds. BRING BACK THE OLD GUN MESHES!

@@ElsonRBLX still. The og ones are better because they had a simple but good design. Like the swat pistols where noticeably more blacker then normal pistols. The rifle scheme was way way better. The older buildings however where not as good. But I could easily get 200+ frames back in the old day. Now I can barely get over 60 fps on high settings. All these little changes with gun schemes made a huge performance impact

The new volt bike update was sad in a way. The Mini Police Staiton got removed from the red bridge. It was useful for catching power plant and cargo plane robbers. It was also very tropical and was the best place you can't deny it.

My favorite update was Return of 5 days 5 vehicles and Live Updates(2020 and 2022). I also liked Tomb update and Season 8 update. I can agree with your New Volt bike opinion because new volt is much more balanced and fair.

The reason why the live 2022 felt weak was because it had no music and sound when there was 2 replays the same day when you realesed this vid and it had collision sounds and buzzing sounds at start ,music and when the live ended there was a similar music to the music at the 2020 live event

I hope jailbreak adds a private jet robbery at airport. Its similar to cargo plane except that that thats a few security stuff in the way to get the cash. The amount of cash that will be gotten: 4.5k Full duffel bag players have to go further into the jet to get their cash. They will get 8k

Ngl but I did not like the live event because after it jailbreak’s map became so big that players like me can’t play the game anymore I just get a pop up saying that my device does not have enough room for the experience and I have 24GB out of 32GB

Ima be honest I prefer old volt bike look in my opinion if there’s ever a voting between old volt or new volt I would choose old volt cause maybe asimo could add it back but no glitches with and it doesn’t flip over on small bumps but it can still climb mountains

They ruined C4 in that update it lost it's friendly fire and same to 1M helicopter and they add couldown, they ruined volt bike. That update was worst update ever in Jailbreak history and ruined whole game. After that update I quit Jailbreak for 9-10 months.

They ruined whole game in July 2021 update. Game lost it's fun in that update. Army heli's missiles lost it's friendly fire ability and they added couldown to it and C4 lost it's friendly fire. Volt revamped and lost it's ability to climbing mountains now it can't even climb little hill. This update was so disgusting and worst update in Jailbreak history bruh. It made me quit Jailbreak for 10 months.
