The best dumplings in Korea are actually North Korean style dumplings. Since we can't go to North Korea, the best is in South Korea at the outskirts of Seoul called Myohang Mandu in Guri. I'm happy to take you whenever you want....you will love it!

Yeah, I don't know about that. Those big mandu are good, for sure, but the best mandu I had was when I was teaching in Pohang, and near the school, a guy was selling steamed mandu out of the back of a pickup truck. I think it was ~1500 won per 10, and you got a little bag of spicey soy sauce and a little bag of daikon pickle to go with it. Very similar to what Mikey had at 45:44, but not as fancy.

I wish we had this kind of place to eat at where I live on the MS Gulf Coast. You'd think being so close to a vast fishing area there would be so many l9cal caught seafood available, but no. I'm so mad.
