Braving Mount Cloudbreak peaks when going through the core of the volcano, such a beautiful sound as the theme becomes more mystical and shows just how great Skylanders music can get. Lorne Balfe made the best soundtracks for each game that he could, impossible to imagine how such talent was hired for this franchise, we were so lucky!

It's really sad how Trap Team started the usage of stock music tracks. At least its 3DS version features exclusive music tracks.

Yeah that's one of the reasons I'm not big on Trap Team introducing Stock Music that excessively was detrimental to the series

@@Enigmatic_ssfIt was the first wide scale usage of stock music in the mainline Skylanders games, before that it was a rarity, after Trap Team it became commonplace but at least Trap Team had many actual original Lorne Balfe themes, Imaginators was almost entirely stock music and remixes were the best alternative we got unfortunately.

These games’ OST (we don’t talk about Imaginators) is my favorite series in gaming, with Zelda being a close runner up. Aside from Zelda, there is no series OST that’s this consistently amazing around.

I think the Xenoblade series is about equal to Skylanders in ost strength but that's the only real competition for me in terms of entire series for me But Zelda's is also amazing 😊

i feel like what puts crystal eye castle at the top for me is the fact that everything that's happening in the level is happening in the song, from the frantic scampering of the cyclopes trying to defend the castle to the crystal eye shimmering in the background, the whole song feels like the level and it's so freaking good

I loved Swap Force's music especially how dynamic it was it's just SSA and Giants have generally stronger music

Swap Force is my favourite when it comes to everything especially it’s music, giants was good and ssa was also good but after swap force the skylanders series didn’t do it for me anymore, trap team came out didn’t really care for it, the music was aight but the game itself just didn’t do it for me. Superchargers had ok music aswell but it didn’t do it for me again, and imaginators had boring music and just wasn’t an interesting game to me

It's like a 5/10 as a game for me the reason it's crossed out is specifically because the soundtrack is the worst soundtrack out of any video game I've played with the only redeeming qualities being a handful of remixes

Imaginators is the worst mainline game though, and most of the good soundtracks are from the other games or remixes from others
