Giannis was just on another level. In both his series, he was by far the best offensive and defensive 2-way player on the court for both teams. I’d definitely take Embiid over Morant 💯

I'm a warriors fan but damn Jimmy was amazing this year, i feel like people placing him below Curry and Tatum do so mostly cause he lost to the Celtics and later Steph put them to bed, imo it should be Jimmy > Steph > Giannis with 4 being debatable but imo Luka deserves it way more than Tatum, he was much more consistent and only struggled against the best defense of the playoffs.

Jimmy is definitely 1. Steph wasn’t even dominant until the finals. And that wasn’t actually until game 4. Butler had 4 40 POINT GAMES. 8 30+ point games. Butler led steals by almost 1. He had multiple 40+ point games, 4+ steal games, and 3+ block games. All of them were at once, he was a monster. He definitely showed everybody he can be a 1 player on a contending team, and after he missed the shot espn had the audacity to say he wasn’t good enough to be a number 1 on a contending team. He will always get doubted, and prove it wrong and still be doubted. He is top 7 rn for sure.

Giannis's 2nd best player was Jrue with 15ppg shooting like under 40%, the 2nd and 3rd best players on the Bucks averaged under 10ppg, Giannis has zero help and yet he took that Celtics team in 7 games. Curry had help, got carried at times. Klay with 19ppg, Wiggins with 18 and Poole with 17 had tons of help. Giannis should be at 1

Butler literally got a injured Lowry, Herro, Tucker, and he himself. And no one averaged 15+ plus a game aside from Butler but almost beat the Celtics in 7 while playing injured. Not so much difference.
