AZ, mos def, rakim, André, big L, Kendrick, Eminem, 2pac, biggie, nas. AZ: Generally a good rapper, wouldn’t have him in my top 50, only notable thing is a feature on a nas song and gets mixed up with GZA and RZA. Mos Def: very fair take, he’s at 11th for me. Rakim: the oldest rapper I know who basically created rap but was only just good at it and has no notable album. Andre 3000: Top 3. Kendrick Lamar: Top 3. Eminem: If Eminem’s career ended at The Eminem Show I would have him on this list. Yet, he has produced HORRIBLE albums like Encore, Kamikaze and Revival. A mid album in Recovery and a polarising album in Relapse/Refill which I think is pretty good. 2pac: Most overrated rapper of all time, bad lyricist, no album above an 8. Biggie: Incredible lyricist, top 10 of all time, Ready to die is a top 10 album of the 90’s and Life After Death is a decent/strong 8 but his discography ends there, dude can’t be 2nd with 2 albums. Nas: Illamtic is like a mid 9, up there with Liquid Swords for Rap album of the 90’s, It was Written is pretty good but it ends there for Nas with catastrophically bad albums like Nastradamus. My top 10 would involve Kendrick, Andre, Black Thought, Kanye, Jay-Z, El-P, MF DOOM, Aesop Rock, RZA and a few more rappers but yo list hella weak

I am, naatradamua, God’s son, hip hop is dead and the lost tapes 2 are all worse than this album. I’m not being generous with these ratings I’m being blunt and truthful. However, it was written is great and although it is insane,y overrated, we all know illmatic is amazing.

Dark Shadows Ultimatum none of them are great with the exception of paid in full, stuff can be notable and further considered when talking about artists, for example Speeding Bullet 2 Heaven is notable from Cudi, that certainly doesn’t mean it was any good. Rakim was just the first real rapper to come up along with NWA, he’s really influential but doesn’t have the quality to match those who proceed him.
