@@CrnaStrela both Supreme King Starving Venom and electrumite are legal in the OCG. I fully understand banning SKSV, it's completely busted. But Electrumite isn't a problem and has never been a problem. It's a good choice for pendulums to get decent advantage and key pieces with good link arrows. I feel that now it's fair since halq and Verte are banned. But it still stings that electrumite was killed on sight after the master rule revisions.

Ooh wonder what part 2 will be. Definitely going to have to be griphon rider or one of the other crucial parts of the adventure engine. Definitely going to have verte and/or DPE. Spright elf would make sense since so many decks can make it and benefit from it, even if just for free bodies. Maybe the kelbek retrain since it breaks boards during your opponent's turn? Or branded fusion since it's been splashable in so many fusion decks

Shifter top 5 imo, its the best handtrap against Tear, and that alone puts it there. But it also made Mathmec, Exosister, and Floo playable (Floo less than the others because they have barrier statue, but it's the best card in the deck when Floo goes turn 2)

Even tears which are one of the big reasons for shifter in main and side decks could theoretically play it going second, simply making plan b on their turn and next turn start playing. Mathmech can (i assume) do something similar

Super poly is a spell speed 4 with an inexistent cost that turns your opponent's board into your board without allowing any sort of counterplay. "discard 1 to turn your board into my dragostapelia. no response allowed"

I feel like a meta tech is something you bring out for a specific deck you are facing: But when most decks use a Token engine in some way, and the only one that doesn't use that one also has tokens...yeah, at that point you're gonna have a use for it more often than not. It might be a result of the meta, but so is every other staple.

Dharc, if nothing else, is good to search another dark monster or use to link climb. I play dark world, and there are a ton of monsters that dharc could search when its destroyed, and ill even use it to clear my board so I can easily climb in to an apollousa. Good card.

It's also good for fire kings and Yubel, allowing you to summon opponents lvl4 dark monster to use to summon rank 4 xyzs, or potentially search Yubel if you do not have one in your hand.

And what's worse with Halq is that, while it's so powerful on its own right. It never did anything to help Crystrons (which is an archetype that really needed help so desperately and Konami simply abandoned just like an unwanted child so fast just like Jurrac, Volcanic, etc (and it shows when they made Halq so generic that they never wanted this Archetype to exist)) shine at all. It was used with other decks but not the deck IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HELP

@@Rizwaan122 Once a lingering effect has been activated, negating the monster or even the effects of all monsters with that name will not stop it. The only way to interact with them is if the lingering effect applies to a card on the field, removing it from the field will get rid of it

It depends you can affect the result of the lingering effect like using droll and lock bird in response of a Maxx c drawn so you're using a lingering effect to counter a lingering effect

Only the odd eyes ritual pendulum can be pendulum summoned as it allows both it's summoning through ritual spell or from a pendulum summoned most other rituals must be done by a specific spell or through a spell as generic as Meteonis drytron.

Side note the *ed ones the best ones 1. *Face down cards can’t be used as fusion material but can be used for tributes of a ritual or tribute summon or effect. 2. *1 Normal summon and 1 set or 2 sets (or 2 normal Summons) (Either Or or 1 set, 1 normal summon, 1 tribute Summon) 3. *You can normal summon in face-up defense position 4. *Tokens can be used as xyz material 5. *Increase the Extra and Side deck to 20 6. Draw 1 card when you end your turn 7. *Link monsters can be used as synchro material but count as level 0 ofc 8. get rid of missing timing 9. *Get rid of properly summoning 10. *Ritual monsters that say “YOU CAN ritual summon this card” can also be Special or Normal summoned like regular monsters. Only Rituals that say “MUST BE” must be ritual summoned. Or Ritual Monsters start in the Extra Deck. 11. Unlimited normal summons of normal monsters and of any level 1-8 12. *Links aren’t restricted to the EMZONES To be Summoned 13. *Pendulum summoning from the face-up extra deck aren’t restricted to linked zones 14. Master Duel is different, obviously, but I *have* to run at least one Token Collector in every deck I use because of goddamn Swordsoul. That easy mode deck is still stupidly common. That being said, I love dropping Nibiru on someone, then summoning Token Collector so my opponent has nothing. With two tier 0, game warping decks in the same year, 2022 has to be one of the most bonkers in Yugioh history. There's a Top 10 list in there, but I can't think of a good title. Top 10 Most Format Warping Years in Yugioh is kinda close, but I don't think it fully works.

I fucking hate cards like Dimensional Shifter and Dimensional Fissure. That nice deck you built? Well say goodbye to those cards forever (except with some like Floo that have recursion) That said, I understand the need for anti-graveyard tools. I think D Shiffer and Fissure (and _non-targeting_ banish like Mirriorjade and Trickstar Reincarnation) should have had clauses like "after 6 turns the cards banished by this effect returns to the hand." The banisher gets their removal/ interrupt. They get their chance to OTK their opponent if the banish was part of removing an OTK obstacle. The victim, if he stalls long enough, _eventually_ gets his card in the deck he worked so hard to craft. Of course 6 turns is an eternity in YGO and in a competitive setting, my change affects prob ably 1 game of the entire year in all the TCG tournaments that exist. This is also why I don't like Yata Garasu even though the Yata lock isn't at all practical. In any card game, the ability to draw an out should never be taken away by an opponent (as opposed to cards that let you peek an opponent's topdeck and reshuffle... their out could have been reshuffled back to the top) and should only be a cost to a risky play. In more casual settings, this would take a lot of the bite out of these cards since most casual players do not build decks to OTK.

Focusing on the most tryhard, sweaty and ``competitive´´ things makes me wanna unsusbcribe. I dgaf about meta or competetitve scene: Always the same cards on the same decks, all unpure. I wanna see 100% PURE decks, no mixing archetypes. play the game like it was meant to be played.

I don't want to be that guy, but the game started out with no archetypes, and the way it was meant to be played was by matching up a bunch of cards together to make a competent deck. The game has never really pushed for pure strategies, that's why so many generic power cards have existed since its inception.
