It needs a full TLC it doesn't look anything like a spider, it should climb on walls and ceilings naturally without having to switch to climbing mode, and it should have a web sling ability that acts like a living grappling hook and it could maybe spit poison while doing it, a turret mode would also be fantastic for the araneo as well. Plus a increase to all of its stats to make it better but not as strong as a raptor and finally a weight reduction of chitin/keratin Also a alpha variant would be fantastic for caves

@@timothytrevino3380 I think some kind of web trap would be awesome, you set it up like a tripwire trap while you're riding the spider, and anything that runs through it is slowed down or completely stopped depending on their drag weight. I think that would be amazing for taming pens

If you have Ark on PC I would recommend the Insects Plus mod. It improves insects, arachnids, most or all other arthropods as well as fish. In an update soon it will be adding wall climbing to appropriate ones. It's like one giant TLC update for all the needed 'little guys' WC forgets about.

My tribe built in desert crack on rag once and we were unraidable when we were online because we would just be able to spam the basilisks spit on the entrance. Also the entrance is small so people can’t walk in with golems or anything big.

There is a similar way to make a unraidable base based on body blocking a choke with a agressive sponge (depending on cave) bread for hp/dmg having pigs(bread for food) snow owls and a yuti for support and a turret wall spare sponges and a automatic meat farm further behind in the cave with proper mutations this is absolutely unraidable when someone that knows the proper rotations is online and even completely off it takes a good amount of time or a shit ton of c4 to even get to the turret wall if everything is mutated well and the pigs are fed with kibble

Yuty turret mode isn't a thing you can do on multiplayer it's only a singleplayer feature wyverns aren't good for turret mod cause thiell kill you and the range is short so once in a certain range they go off the mode and go kill normally
