I’ve loved Odenkirk since I was a kid. Does anyone remember Bob Odenkirk & David Cross in “Mr. Show?” I’m 99% sure it was on HBO and it used to be my favorite show as a kid but no one I tell seems to know about it.

House of the Dragon is so amazing! Besides the storylines, the creation of the sets continues to be visually impressive, in addition to the acting and of course the dragons it's all just perfect. All I could think of is "how did they create that?!". The Targaryens sure use a lot of candles.....and I'm here for it! Edit: I'm also living for all the fabulous costumes. I truly loved Aegon's all-black crowning costume and crown.

So glad Better Call Saul is number 1. It's a full Greek tragedy. I was mind-blown with the plot twists and how they gave closure to not only BCS but also Breaking Bad. The writing was superb cause they intertwined both TV Shows and three different time-lines within the same season without feeling forced or fan service. It was organic. Amazing how a TV show in which we know the fate of most of the characters still makes us feel at the edge of our seats, worrying about Kim living or dying and then finding out poor Howard was the one who died, and even more surprising, he was buried underneath Gus' meth lab. Excellent show

Technically, it had 3 storylines. The prequel Jimmy stryline, the Mike storyline (both of which meet each other at the end) and the post-Breaking Bad storyline. All three were concluded very effectively

It's weird I wanted to like it. I watched the first 3 episodes I think. I just couldn't get into better call saul. This also happened with another tv show, lost. Although I gave lost another chance and it turns out I actually enjoyed it. I might do the same with better call saul. Just give it another chance.

Kudos for mentioning "Pachinko"! It's definitely in my Top 10, as is "For All Mankind". Awesome stuff on Apple TV+. I hate that "Shantaram" just got cancelled. Other swell, underrated shows include "Interview with the Vampire", "Mayans MC", "1883", "Station Eleven", "The Old Man" and "Fleischman is in Trouble"! As an Alabamian, I have a big soft spot for "The Wonder Years", but it's really good anyway. Check 'em all out! There's been so little truly great TV lately.

Season 5 of Cobra Kai was easily the best show this year. Out of many great ones for sure but the entirety of that season redeemed the entirety of Karate Kid Part 3. Its also the only show out of any on this list that received 100% certified fresh. Start to finish absolutely fantastic. Terry Silver gave Homelander a run for his money for best villain. It honestly kind of pisses me off that Cobra Kai doesnt get the reward recognition it deserves. Easily in my opinion the best show in the world right now and that is taking nothing away from these other fantastic shows on this list.

Peacemaker, Barry and Andor all deserved to be much higher than just honorable mentions. All three are in my top 6, along with Stranger Things, House of the Dragon and Better Call Saul. Let's round it out with The Boys, Severence, Old Man, Winning Time: Lakers Dynasty and Sandman. And, both Love, Death and Robots and Guillermo Del Toros Cabinet of Curiosities were also excellent. It was a good year for the boob tube.
