@@commanderfreedom yeah, it slowed down too much, and the script got a lot dumb. I mean you are in a survival situation, you dont keep secrets that could help bring the mystery of the place down. I feel they had their plots ready, and they were trying to connect them with things that most of the time, made the characters choices seem at least irrational

Succession Season 4 was STUNNING. The show already kicked ass from S1Ep1 but they took it into the stratosphere for its final go around. That ending will go down as one of the most devastating ever!!

“From” on MGM is massively slept on. Do yourself a favor and watch the season 1 trailer. As a fan of mystery/thriller/suspense type shows it’s definitely a great watch. It’s a shame it’s on MGM so no one’s heard of it :(

Loved season 1, haven’t seen season 2 yet. I’m wary with “Mystery Box” shows because some of them have a concrete end point they build to (Dark, Silo) and some literally make it up as they go. (Lost, Manifest). I’m worried From is the latter. But tremendous acting!!

The final episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is my favorite finale so far. It wrapped up everything without feeling rushed and everything felt complete, no holes or unresolved storylines. And that final scene. Perfect.

To be completely honest, I wasn’t terribly impressed with that show. Yes it was decent and Elizabeth Olsen is a phenomenal actress, but for whatever reason I just wasn’t a big fan of it. I felt like they portrayed Candy Montgomery as more of a victim, and while we will probably never truly know what happened on that fateful day, it felt like a one sided approach.

Great list!! I don’t have Netflix anymore because as surely as they get a show people love, it’ll be cancelled after one season unless it’s a massive success right out of the gate. I’d rather invest time in a show on Max or Apple TV knowing it will probably have multiple seasons.

I would have to say Daisy Jones and the Six. When Riley Keough was announced to play Daisy Jones, I was skeptical because I wasn't sure if she could sing, but she sold me when the show premiered. While some episodes dragged, it was a good show nevertheless. I hope it’s renewed for a second season.

besides the limited amount of infected in the show in comparison to the game, yea sure it was great. A show based on a mutated fungus searching for a host, you would think there would be more of them.

It's far from perfect imo but a decent adaptation nonetheless, just wished it had more of the infected and made them more of a threat than a plot device in select episodes

The Last Of Us was a decent adaptation on its own. But when compared directly to the game its based on... its not even close to being decent, although a much longer runtime would fix most of the problems I have with it. I was literally expecting episodes with a runtime and pacing similar to 'all of us are dead' series, but I was left bitterly disappointed and underwhelmed. I could barely connect to the main characters.

I don't think Daisy Jones & the Six deserved even an HM. I found it disappointing and nowhere near the quality level of others on the list. I would like to have seen The Diplomat (Netflix) make the list. Terrific writing, acting and production. Quality in line with your other mentions.
