I just returned from Jerusalem with my family and we took part in the Sift Project which ended up being one of my kids most favorite experiences there. We all had a great time and ended up finding what the team believed were TWO - first temple era pieces, one second temple pottery piece, as well as a glass mosaic from the original exterior of the Dome of the Rock building. I highly recommend anyone going to Jerusalem to take a half-day and participate in this unique and rewarding experience.

It could also belonged to Palestinians who had been living there for 1000s of years.🤡
@jamig.7254 Жыл бұрын
@@IA100KPDT Where is your proof that Palestinians had been living there for 1000's of years? In Gaza, history records an area composing as 4 different districts as Palestina. It was never in the West Bank. And why I'm at it, you (Palestinians) receive so much money from America and I assume Arabs as well. It appears that this is your only means of support. Do you continue your terror attacks to receive aid (money)? You claim to fight for what you think is your homeland (it's not); yet, all the media displays of the Palestinian territories are poor, run down areas. You would think after 70+ years, you would have a well run economy and government. You have neither. It actually reflects you as a people. No one is impressed.

Very interesting discoveries. Sometimes I wonder how many discoveries it would take before we could just conclude that the history in the Bible is true, or at least conclude that it is substantially true. I guess people will believe or not believe no matter what they see. I know that I've presented what I considered irrefutable evidence on topics and had people just ignore the facts, so I'm not too hopeful that this will prove anything to those who purposely want to discount the Bible, but, it may strengthen the faith of those who believe and give them evidence against the naysayers.

It should be pointed out that Adam Zertal did an excellent job of excavating the site on Mt. Eibal, but the standard technique at the time to sift for relics was dry sifting. In the intervening decades, Eli Shukrun or Gavriel Barkay developed the technique of wet sifting for the Temple Mount WAKF dump sifting project. It has been found to be a far greater, superior technique of archeological sifting. So the new wet sifting technique was applied on sifting through Zertal's dump pile to find small artifacts that he may have missed using the less precise techniques from 40 years ago..

Thank you. I very much enjoyed this, except for one thing. Why say B.C.E. (Before Common Era) instead of B.C. (Before Christ)? The Bible is all about Christ of course, and these discoveries do validate the Bible. B.C.E. is a relatively new layer of sediment to cover the name of Christ. Let's brush off the coverup as good archaeologists (of which I am not one, officially, but in spirit).

BC doesn’t stand for Before Christ. It’s short for B.C.E. AD doesn’t stand for after death. When Christians say this stuff they bring disrepute to what they/we know (Bible). I am a Bible reader myself (a Notzarim) but I always seek to understand it from historical language context time... not from 2024 Christian understanding. If you do you are lost. Eg. A Hebrew from the tribe of Yehudah doesn’t have a Greek/Latin hybrid name with a 1400’s letter J... “Jesus”. He has a prophetic Hebrew name. Yehoshua ... meaning Yehovah Saves.

List of virgin births: There were 100's of virgin births around the world before jesus. Virgin birth (more strictly, virginal conception), in the proper sense, is differentiated from other miraculous births in that it is birth from a mother who is a virgin; and no male seed in any form is involved. Thus a birth resulting from artificial insemination of a virgin would not be classified as a virgin birth. Similarly, asexual births involving only a father, such as Athena's mythological birth from Zeus's forehead, would similarly not be classified as a virgin birth under this definition. Many alleged "virgin births" in ancient mythology are probably more accurately described as "miraculous births", since the mother is understood to have been impregnated by a god in either his own form or in an assumed form, as when Zeus impregnated Leda. For example, the births of Buddha, born from married parents, Krishna, the eighth son of Devaki, and Mithras, formed out of solid rock, were miraculous births, but were not the result of virginal conception by a virgin. Christianity *Jesus: The founder of the Christian faith was conceived, according to the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke, in the virgin Mary without a father through the Holy Spirit (see virgin birth of Jesus). This virginal conception is often confused with Mary's Immaculate Conception from her parents. (Jesus is the story of Ra the Egyptian sun god) Egyptian religions *Mut-em-ua: The virgin Queen of Egypt, supposedly gave birth to Pharaoh Amenkept III through a god holding a cross to her mouth. *Ra: The Egyptian sun god, was said to be born of a virgin. (Ra is the story used to bring about Jesus) Hinduism *Krishna *Karna Assyrian and Babylonian religions *Tammuz *Zoroaster *Tukulti-Ninurta II *Ashurbanipal Greco-Roman religions *Alexander the Great *Antiope: Antiope was seduced by Zeus and bore him twin sons, Zethus and Amphion *Attis: Attis was born to the virgin Nana who got pregnant after eating a pomegranate. *Auge *Dionysus: *Melanippe *Mithras: Mithras was born in a cave, to a rock. *Romulus:Romulus was born to Rea Sivia, a mortal Vestal virgin. Chinese tradition *Genghis Khan *Lao-Tzu Buddhism *Gautama Buddha: Buddha was conceived to Maya without sexual activity. tories sometimes interpreted as of virgin births. (DO THE RESEARCH... JESUS IS JUST A RETOLD STORYS, AND HAS NO TRUTH) “If You Think You Know Everything, You’ll Never Learn Anything,” “No amount of Evidence will Ever Persuade an Idiot.”
