Season 6 Episode 24 The Bon Voyage Reaction: Raj talks to Penny, realizing he's doing it without alcohol, both in tears. Love it!

Sheldon hugging Penny is still my favorite scene followed closely by Howard's monologue about how Bernadette has changed him after his bachelor party.

Oh, and the scene where the others comfort Howard about the letter he got from his father. Though I really wish that they'd stop using Penny to ruin tender moments. Between that scene and Howard getting news of his mother's death, Sheldon is used to deliver a heartfelt message and Penny is given an awkward line to 'diffuse tension' but ultimately just upends the tone of the scene.

+Edward Romo Although it was a hilarious part of Raj's personality (for example when Raj and Penny wake up in the same bed naked), it was getting old. Every character on the show changes and develops over time in reaction to their environment, just like every real person does. This is what keeps the show fresh and interesting. If the guys were the same as in the first season, the show would have gotten stale very fast. I think it was a logical step forward after he got his heart broken by Lucy.

The final episode in series 5 is very good. It's done in flashback as Howard waits on the launch pad. The closing scene has the other character holding hands in Leonard and Sheldon's living room. It's a really moving moment and one of my favourites. But I have to say the Christmas gift one you already listed is also one of my favourite moments too. His whole gift giving hypothesis falls apart when he sees what Penny gives him.

Lets see Overused laughtrack. I watched it for reviewing purposes, and counted three laugh tracks in a fifteen second span. Unfunny humor. The jokes do nothing other than perpetuate the "oh, nerds are such weird people!" stereotype. Cliched characters. Raj: gratuitous minority character. Need to have that. Sheldon: socially awkward, borderline autistic nerd character. Amy: same as Sheldon, just gender swapped. Penny: unoriginal "slutty, stupid bitch" character. Howard: generic "giggity giggity, I like sex" character. Leanord: unlikable and unoriginal roommate character. Bernaddate: generic "I'm the strong woman" bitch.
