Firstly, buggy vs luffy doesn't belong on this trash list, secondly, this kinda list is only supposed to focus on antagonists, and usoppe was never an antagonist, thirdly, nobody even remembers bluno for anything except for the fact that luffy wrecked him with 4th gear. Try putting luffy vs bellamy, luffy vs hordy, and luffy vs lucci. Bellamy because he's basically a foil to luffy's dream, hordy because his personality was molded by arlong, and lucci because he is the embodiment of the very thing that robin has been tormented by her entire life. It says a lot about the Water 7 story line when three of the fights come from it. Usopp's battle being the most emotional, Blueno's battle introduces 2nd gear, and the the battle with Rob Lucci was just Epic. The battles are one of the many reasons the Water 7 is One Piece's best story line.

I think enel should have been higher on the list, just because when he defeated enel by ringing the golden Bell, it signified the end of a 400 year war. Kept the promise between Noland and Kalgera while letting cricket know the city of gold was in the sky proving his ancestor wasn't a liar. And is kinda proof of what Corazon said later in the series about people with the will of D being the sworn or natural enemy of God, since Luffy was literally Enels natural enemy being made of rubber to the so called "God's" electric logia body

Of the Straw Hats, my favorites are Luffy, Nami, and Robin. I never expected to love Luffy as much as I do, but I really adore him for the lengths he goes for his friends and his whimsical carefree personality. Nami and Robin are more subtle in their character roles, but I really like them. Neither of them are really strong or have big fights like Zoro or Luffy, but I love their character quirks and antics. I wish they had more to do. Outside of the Straw Hats, I'd say Law. He's the one Supernova that really stood out for me. His conflict with Doflamingo is fascinating and heartbreaking. Also, his devil fruit powers are really cool.

Moria was right about how Luffy and his crew weren’t ready for the new world, not only from how Admiral Kizaru wiped the floor with several supernovas and his crew on Sabody Archipelago, but also how Bartholomew Kuma flawlessly took them out via his devil fruit power. Which was also one of the most heartbreaking moments as Luffy was powerless in saving his friends as Kuma made them disappear one by one.

I said to my friend awhile ago, Luffy knew he could beat Dofalmingo. Katakuri pushed him to go beyond his limits, if you watch ep 870 it's proof that Luffy could go into his snakeman mode whenever he wanted. It also means that he knew he didn't need to use it against Doflamingo as he could beat him.

Why do people love to downplay Doflamingo? Luffy post timeskip never had a battle he won single-handedly save for Hordy and Ceasar. The entire theme of One Piece is that you cannot achieve things on your own. Luffy could not defeat Donflamingo by himself, even if he pulled out Gear 4th from the start. Donflamingo might not have the power like Luffy, but he was tenacious and shrewd. And like with Crocodile, Donflamingo had many chances to kill Luffy before their big battle, twice! Law ensured that Luffy had a fighting chance, and the people of Dressrosa ensured Luffy survived long enough to deal the final blow. It's the same with Lucci. Had Usopp not arrived, Luffy would've given up. The Gear fourth variations are from compromises suitable for different occasions. Luffy observes the battle and make adjustments based on the type of fighter you are.

Katakuri didn't even know about Luffy until Luffy reached WCI, there's no feeling from Katakuri towards Luffy, he doesn't hate him, the whole arc Katakuri was just defending his homeland from outsider pirates invasion.

Katakuri wasn't the one trying to hurt Sanji, that was Big Mom. Fights like Enel were impactful because they were established as a foe so vastly beyond anyone else. Katakuri wasn't the strongest villain in that arc, that was Big Mom. Fights like Crocodile and Doflamingo were impactful because those were people who held entire nations in their grasp. Katakuri wasn't the one leading a pirate empire, that was Big Mom. Katakuri was the kind of opponent who should've lost to ZORRO. All that fight really did was show that Luffy can finally rival the Zorro of a Yonko. Hell, they really shouldn't have even started calling him the fifth Emperor yet, if beating an Emperor's second is all it takes.
