I don't think the explosion he took was enough to put him at a level so weak that he would have otherwise been able to block vergos hits for a prolonged period of time, when vergo wasn't even using armament haki, his fists, his rokushiki, or his stick. How much damage do you think Caezars explosion actually did? Do you really believe it was enough to lower his durability enough for it to make a difference in the actual fight? The main reason sanji lost to all his past opponents was simple, his legs did not hold up against them. Just look at vergo vs sanji, sanji managed to kick vergo into the wall but at that time vergo's haki was strong enough to crack his bones, same with doffy, and same with enel his body couldnt hold up. We know Aokiji can freeze liquids and solids, but I think Ifrit Jambe is a whole new level when considering that the only part Sanji strikes with is his legs, which would be rediculously hot (Hot enough to cook a kraken underwater without ifrit jambe) and fast enough to speed blitz a yonko commander. Sanji's clashes don't last very long during strikes, it's not a prolonged clash of force, which makes me wonder if Aokiji has enough time to overcome the tempature difference to freeze Sanji. On the other hand we also know that Aokiji managed to scar Akainu, but we don't know if that from his haki or devil fruit control. I guess what I'm asking is if the winning factor of the fight comes down their inherently elemental powers or the power/control over their haki. Like Kaido said "Haki transcends all". People _way overrate_ Enel for some reason. Enel by today's standards is incredibly weak. If Sanji moves so fast he is invisible, he is definitely faster than the speed of light. I think he would easily take down kizaru. Also one key thing that your analysis missed out is the personification of speed in one peace. Since people are able to doge laser attacks, i think its safe to assume that the speed of light in the world of one piece is actually slower than in our world. Or, it’s possible that some humans can move that that speed or faster casually.

Agreed, in One Piece there are people who can move at the speed of light. I wouldnt call it "casual" as they would have had to train insane lengths or be genetically and scientifically altered to do so. But certainly there are people who have attained not only light speed, but perceptive abilities and reactions at similar speeds. The list of people on that level though is rather small compared to the full population of One Piece's world.

Bit of insight into sanjis speed, post time sjip luffy could effortlessly dodge lasers back to back in base form, even moving fast enough to wait for them to reach him before dodging them (calcd as 13x ftl), and sanji is bare minimum faster than current luffys g4 (maybe not Snakeman). using multipliers this puts sanji quite literally millions of times ftl, but its likely that kizaru can match or even surpass this

Current Sanji is so fast he become invisible, and his haki, as he stated when usign Ifrit Jambe, has VASTLY improved. He's already fast enough to become "invisble" even to an Observation Haki user like Queen when he's not using Ifrit Jambe. Then you have to take into account that Ifrit Jambe makes Sanji have even more acceleration and even more physical power behind his strikes, plus the added bonus of extreme heat (not to mention it also requires high grade armament haki coating, as stated by Sanji). After everythign we saw with how fast he was on Egghead (blitzing across the island in seconds multiple times), how he took hits from the Seraphim like nothing, adn damaged the Seraphim, it's safe to say he can beat practially anyone he fought before. Not to mention that he also easily took out Queen, an extremely strong commander relative to King, once he combined his past strengths, his vastly improved armament haki, and his superhuman enhancements all to create Ifrit Jambe. He took out Queen, easily, in seconds after getting it, and Queen is one of the toughest commanders. Imagine what he's doing to Enel, or Doflamingo lol. Doflamingo wouldn't even be able to keep up with him. Sanji would literally pull a Sabaody Kizaru kick on Doflamingo's face lol

bro queen can see things that move around 55 times the speed of light and he could not see sanji so sanji moves more than 5 times faster than light but there is a difference between reaction time and how fast queen would move so sanji is minimum 55 times faster than light and maximum around 225 times the speed of light based off of queens feats as queen managed to block luffy atack which luffy could move 55 times the speed of light base mode so yeah sanji is def fast enough for kizaru

Basically sums it up, however I have a couple corrections and some additions: -Pointed out by others above me Sanji's difficulty against Queen was all an internal struggle so he should at least be 1st commander level, albeit maybe a bit weaker than it since Zoro is still above him -With Queen again he was low diffed by Sanji after he got his powerup +Aokiji also one shotted Jozu for being slightly off guard, compare that to when he was vulnerable fighting Whitebeard and Jozu got a hit in, all Aokiji got was blood +Akainu also no diffed all of the Whitebeard commanders +Zoro's strongest attack only gave Kaido a scar and he passed out after With all of this taken into account Sanji still gets mid diffed by the admirals.

I wanna say that fiction isn't restricted to real life physics. One of Sanji's brothers fired lasers and then outran them for fucks sake. So Kizaru is probably also way faster than light. His body being made of photons allows him casual access to lightspeed, and a body without mass, exceeding it would be easy for him. But also Marco could somewhat keep up with Kizaru at Marineford, as could Rayleigh, so Sanji being able to keep up is not out of the question.
