Imaging how cool a movie on the lieutenant hunting Blackbeard would be. You follow his adventure and constantly hear how scary this infamous pirate is, only for him to be a complete monster in the final battle. Drinking gunpowder and relentlessly fighting, despite getting shot. Then, the final shot of his body in water appears as if it is swimming before disappearing. HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE!

It seems that Blackbeard understood the power of propaganda and he was an expert of self-promotion. Incidentally those cannons they found on his ship look pretty large. At West Point Museum there is an example of a cannon that a merchant ship would carry for defense, it isn't anywhere near as big as those cannons shown here.
