great list, love me some light weight board games! :) im surprised that Vale of Eternity was not on the list bcuz it was hot couple of months ago. ive only played 2 games from this list Wingspan and ticket to ride, Wingspan is in my top 3. i love lightweight boardgames so much but my group gets mad at me if i buy one bcuz they prefer heavier games XD i was disappointment when Stonespine Architects bcuz the covers tells me that it would be a right medium euro game

Yes, there are some excellent medium-light games out there (like Wingspan). If a game can be engaging mechanically, approachable in theme, and easy to learn, almost anyone can become a fan. Thanks for your comments!
