Sarcófago foi uma banda de um albúm só. Apesar de "The Laws of Scourge" ser um dos melhores albuns do metal, não é o suficiente para o colocar a frente do Angra.

Just because our summer is intense doesn't mean it's sunny everyday. Trust me, bands like Sarcófago existed because of how fucked up our society (in Brazil) was in the 80's. At the time the church had a much bigger influence on people. Many Sarcófago lyrics are just attacking the Catholic church. However, they said they didn't hate any religions, but they would often question the morals and values of pastors and priests (that would often explore the population on cash).
