To me Spider-Man vs Colossus and Magik with The Phoenix Force and Spider-Man vs Kingpin in The Back In Black Event were The Most Brutal Marvel Beatdowns ever.

Spider-Man really should have died there. He got punched in the face by a Cyttorak-powered, Phoenix Force-powered Colossus. As strong as Spidey is, there is zero reason he should have survived that. Plot armor activate. That said, that issue was easily the best of the overall utterly horrendous Avengers. vs. X-Men series.

Some of these beatdowns are just the writers not understanding the power levels of the characters. There is no way in hell Punisher would beat Doom. Dr. Doom has literal magic and armor that even Wolverine wouldn't be able to touch. Punisher wouldn't be able to even hurt him, much less actually cause any damage.

Hulk Vs Doomsday. Hulk 50/50. The Hulk can always come back via The One Below all and he has his regeneration. Doomsday can always adapt so endless. The same if Broly faced him. He can always return but Broly can't defeat Doomsday. DC is on a whole 🔥

Random question....How on earth is Wolverine able to pierce the hulk when they fight? I get how tough adamantium is, but it would still require wolverine to be super strong or moving at a high velocity to be able to throw a strong enough punch to pierce through Hulk's skin. Coz bullets and grenades literally bounce off hulk and apart from the wolverine's regenerative ability i have never know him to have super human strength.

Daredevil 259- 262 - Typhoid Mary releases some B-list villains on our boy and DD gets the crap beat out of him and leaves him for dead (a part of the Hell On Earth/Inferno run). Even in the ICU it continues for DD! It's not an epic, super colossal beatdown like Phoenix force level but it's a brutal street fight that is real and gritty though multiple issues. You feel the breaks and fractures in each panel and it's even worse somehow when the beat down is by super thugs in the street instead of A-list'ers in space or Mt Olympus.

Punisher taking out Doom and humiliating Wolverine was because Garth Ennis was the writer. Garth Ennis is known for his strong hatred of superheroes and the superhero genre. Which is why he made The Boys and writes superheroes so badly. It’s pure spite.

The fact that Magneto easily ripped out Wolverines adamantimim reflects how weak Wovlerine is. His ONLY advantage is hand to hand combat, which is nearly unmatched. Other than that, he has no special powers in comparison with other mutants who do. Wolverine is over-rated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There needs to be a real fight of Wonder Woman vs. Darkseid, Doomsday, Batman OR better yet, the Top 10 Deadliest Assassins like Enter The Dragon Bruce Lee movie: Deadshot, Lady Shiva, Darkseid, etc. The Sword, Shield, and Lasso moves are old and boring. Need to up her fight and superpower moves like everyone else. Two superpower moves should be Raging DemiGOD when her Bracelets are off and a shockwave, like the Hulk and more creativity using Tiara like expanding spear or knife. Wonder Woman is always HYPED-UP & DESCRIBED as a God and one of the most powerful heroes and "Best Melee" fighter in DC.
