As someone also with mental health issues, I'm sick of people & especially the media confusing mental health and cruelty. They are two drastically different things. The vast majority of people with mental health illnesses are extremely empathetic. In fact that's an actual subsection of a specific mental illness. It's infuriating and damaging for people to continue to think they are the same.
@stephencooper74592 жыл бұрын
Some people externalise their mental health issues. Vast majority internalise it. Some use it as an excuse when it's not true . Sorry I was wrong because I was behaving badly would be a meaningful apology. There's a stigma with mental health , celebrity people using it as an excuse is damaging if it's not true.

Obviously I don't know anything that would lead me to believe that, but if he did agree to specific terms in his contract and then failed to respect said contract, then it's kind of his fault, isn't it? It might just be me but I don't think Will Smith deserves to be canceled over what he did. He was definitely in the wrong and should have had to leave the show (not in cuffs though). Ezra Miller deserves to be canceled though. What he did is way worse. Also I never liked him as Flash to begin with so I wouldn't miss him.

Will Smith canceled himself. I won’t watch anything of his at all. All I see is the slap and the subsequent obscenities. A lot of other people see this too, I guarantee you.

Just when I thought that Amber Heard and Will Smith was my top 2, along comes a little Jerry Lee Lewis mixed with R Kelly: Ezra Miller. So basically, everyone on this list can claim mental health issues. I say (my opinion), they are Celebrities who thought they could get away with anything and didn't. And making it harder for the people who (including celebrities), that is really suffering. The new year will be here in four months, let's see what it brings.
@melanielizbeth73752 жыл бұрын
Honestly everyone in Hollywood has mental health issues. Because in order to succeed and become a megastar celebrity you have to be narcissistic and self-centered and manipulative and thus you’ll have mental health issues because your personality is such that you already can’t go get help or let yourself be held accountable. Anyone who doesn’t have that personality type won’t succeed in that type of Hollywood environment. They make their own problems. The Hollywood formula is twisted.

Will Smith may not have done himself any favors and his carrier definitely took a hit but I wouldn't say it's over. But that may just be wishful thinking. Still one of the best actors out there and although I don't like what he did and agree in the backlash he got and the punishments although a ten year ban was a bit much.
