The hate Spice World gets is seriously misguided. First off, it was never meant to be a deep, Oscar worthy movie. It’s a parody a parody & comedy never gets the respect it deserves. It definitely was a fan service movie & that was the point, it’s a fun project. One could say it was an early version of a concert film. I loved it as a 12 year old & I still love it at 38. The memories of seeing that movie with my bestie & being a Spice Girls fan will never go away!💜 ETA: Regarding Madonna, Dick Tracy & Evita were two of her best movies & they were conveniently left out. She’s not an actress, but those were two good movies. And BOTH had Oscar nominated songs that she sung. Be fair when making these lists.

Rhianna, I thought at least, did a great job in the move, "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets". She played a shape shifter, did one hell of a song and dance, I thought it was great! I thought the whole movie was pretty great, Science Fiction, obviously. She did a great job, and she looked absolutely STRIKING! in it. If you haven't seen it, try to check it out. It is a real visual splendor for the senses, with a really good story as well. I think she earned her stripes in this one, also she was really good the TV series "Psycho", she played a chick that embezzled a bunch of money and stayed at the "Bates Motel"! She did quite well in that as well, definately an improvement from "Battleship". I must confess, as a woman (say this cause above YT name is Rob) I LOVE BATTLESHIP! It is a guilty pleasure of mine, watch it every time it is on....

Battleship has one good scene: when they're trying to shoot at the aliens just via the sound detection. It's just like the game and it does have genuine tension. Paris Hilton was quite good when she made an appearance on Supernatural. As was Sooki from the Jersey Shore. All the Jersey Shore cast were really good in the Three Stooges movie, as they had good comic timing and were prepared to send themselves up. For a really bad one: British footballer Brian Robson as himself in children's show 'Jossy's Giants'. He looks terrified to be on camera and like he's reading from an autocue.

For the last clip I've never seen that movie that Madonna was in but I think she did a terrific job with her character in A League Of Their Own 1992. If Madonna wouldn't have gotten that role in the movie that was mentioned in this video I could have seen Bridget Fonda play that role. I don't care what you all say, LOL!! I think Battleship was a fun entertaining movie and Rihanna didn't do bad for her first movie. I can certainty think of people that did much worse on their first attempt, ie Arnold Schwarzenegger!!
