There was a documentary on Joe Namath where he expressed deep remorse about that incident where he was clearly intoxicated. He immediately reached out to the reporter and apologized who accepted his apology and in an even more classy move refused to detail the conversation for public consumption. Namath got sober after. Matter closed..
