I'm not sure if anyone's already said this, but the Justin Bailey code was actually unintentional. A password randomizer spat out the code, someone tried it, and the results were so astounding that it just caught on. I personally would've gone with NARPAS SWORD for the Metroid entry, as it was intentional, and has far cooler results. For those who don't know, it gives Samus all the items in the game, and it makes it so that Samus cannot die.

In case you can't be arsed to do it, heres what happens. A Spy pops out from the top-left corner, laughs, and places a Sapper on the TF2 Wiki logo. You'll then hear an Engineer shout "Spah's sappin' mah Wiki!" And a Spy can be heard laughing in the background. A couple of Wrench-hit sounds will play, the Sapper will disappear, and the Engineer will say "Much obliged, pardner."

Favorite cheat codes I've used. Infinite health and drive mode in Kingdom Hearts II, fun to just very slowly beat Sephiroth with it, don't even need to dodge his attacks. Drive mode, could never stay in one form long enough to level them up normally, now finally unlocks glide ability while in drive mode. The second one was level up from level 1 to level 99 instantly after killing one enemy in Final Fantasy XII at the very beginning of the game. Seriously, it was the only way I could even play the game all the way through because I had trouble with the enemies that were at the start of the game.

One of my favorite codes I liked using as a kid was the Naming Code in Golden Sun. It doesn't do anything super special, just lets you name all the main characters instead of just the main character, but I just liked it because it was the first code I memorized. Naturally, my favorite cheat code in a video game is from Sonic 2. (Debug mode) Step 1:enter "options" (under "2p vs") Step 2:go on "sound test" and enter (19,65,09,17) Step 3:press C then start Step 4:when sonic and tails show on screen, hold A and press start Step 5:go on "sound test" and enter (01,09,09,02,01,01,02,04) Step 6:enter a level, but first, hold A and press start at the same time(don't let go of A) Step 7:press B to enter debug mode I guess it's cool because you could spawn any platform/obstacle and rings. And you could unlock all chaos emeralds by entering (04,01,02,06) in the sound test. It's not much, but it's a nice touch......sorry for wasting your time...

“Bailey” doesn’t mean bathing suit. Justin Bailey was just a dude who randomly decided to enter his name into the password screen and looked at a cool feature before he was supposed to. There’s a simple code by typing in all zeroes except for one from the left on the top and bottom right code bars, where you put 2’s, which allows you to play as that suit from the beginning, without any progress, and the suit itself is unlocked normally by beating the game in under 3 hours. The reason the code works is because the password letters correspond to certain values in game that manipulate things related to saving, such as missiles, bosses, health and items. My friends and I would spend hours playing GTA San Andreas with the "All pedestrians riot" cheat, "Pedestrians have weapons" cheat and the "All pedestrians attack you" cheat. We would always get blown up by an old lady with a rocket launcher lol.

Jebus, SpaceHamster. For forever I forgot about Cheat Planet, but holy damn did I ever use it... Until it redirected me to Gamesradar and I never was able to find it again. I mean, not like we're missing much now. Games are so big and widespread that cheats are features and DLC now.
