McCartney was one of the first low-fi recordings ever made Larry and Glen and I absolutely love it,it's like Paul invited you into his home and personally performed for you and Abraxas was a whole new sound for me which I thought was quite interesting a very cool latin feel. Bob

Great lists. You could probably make a top 10 list of Beatles related lists from 1970; just off the top of my head I can think of 2 Beatles albums and 5 solo ones. Alas, none made my list 🙍 nor David Bowie 😭 Actually, I never associate Bowie with 1970...probably because it was the year of my birth so I obviously heard his 1970s albums later. 1 Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath 2 Morrison Hotel - The Doors 3 Paranoid - Black Sabbath 4 Fun House - The Stooges 5 T Rex - T Rex 6 III - Led Zeppelin 7 Elton John - Elton John 8 Flat Baroque and Berserk - Roy Harper 9 Back Home - Chuck Berry 10 Loaded - The Velvet Underground 11 A Beard of Stars - Tyrannosaurus Rex. This album was originally number 10 but I forgot Loaded until I heard you mention it. In the past year I have been getting into the Stooges more and wouldn't have been on my list before.... perhaps a top 30. Sunflower by the Beach Boys and Deep Purple In Rock are another two great albums from that year.
