Professor Mercury well, Queen didn't ever get into the spotlight until much later here in North America. People also don't remember Queen for albums, they remember them for songs. Honestly, off the top of your head, can you name one song from Sheer Heart Attack besides Killer Queen? Again, people remember Queen for songs, not entire albums. People remember Pink Floyd for albums and songs.

Nirvana is very overrated imo. Alice in Chains is a much better grunge band imo. First off Layne Staley easily had the better singing voice. Not to mention the harmonizing between Jerry cantrell and Layne were great. The AiC instrumentation was also much more complex and better. In the end it's all opinion but I really feel AiC was the better band.

Amen, if there were a rock Mount Rushmore Hendrix and Bowie (in one of his incarnations) would definitely be two of the heads and Clapton & Dylan would be VERY much in the debate. Okay, Bowie wasn't a really a band, still.....? Also, much as I respect Zeppelin and their inclusion on any such list, would they even have existed as they did without The Jimi Hendrix Experience? This is largely a Top 40's list. I don't think its makers know too much about (other than the inclusion of Pink Floyd) the REAL classic rock.
