I agree. On top of that they take forever to ship at times. They will drop ship your order from China which can take 3 weeks+. I canceled my order and ordered from mous my ordered was shipped out in hours. I got it yesterday actually. My only issue with mous is that they don't have as many clear options as casetify does. But mous is slightly less (with better discounts) and on the website they say they try to ship out your item in 24 hrs. Unlike casetify.

Rhinoshield did it! The give you 5 years warranty if the case get yellow you can contact them. But it doesnt have magsafe what is a probem.

I have learned a lot about cases from watching your videos, and from experience. I am using an iPhone 13 Pro, no more android phones! I wanted to choose a protective clear case. I was going to buy an Otterbox but, it took too long to ship, and they yellow easily. I got a clear case from a company called DropGuys which was protective but, very slippery. I ended up with the Tech21 Evo clear which I like a lot. I like Casetify cases but, they are a good $70 U.S. I love the one that looks like a camera. The Tech 21 case, I have dropped sadly several times. It doesn’t show any cracks or scratches so far. Also, it is made with an anti-yellowing chemical. So far it’s doing well in the Florida sun.

Hi Aaron, I ended up getting the Catalyst Influence case for the iPhone 12 based on your review a year ago. Your review and tests were really compelling and I was convinced that the case would last many years. My case ended up breaking (side panel detached from the back panel) about a year after I got it which was disappointing, but I assumed perhaps I just got a bad unit. I was more disappointed by the response when I reached out to Catalyst. I was 2 weeks outside the warranty period (1 week if you consider when I actually received the case in the mail) and they offered me a 30% discount. I understand that that might be a strict policy for them but honestly I expected a better product and customer support experience for a case that is decently more expensive than several of the other competing cases on your list. Thanks for your hard efforts on the video, I'm still convinced I happened to receive a dud, but I am honestly just all-around disappointed with the product and service and won't be buying Catalyst in the future. Just wanted to share my experience.

Can’t believe you guys left out the Peel clear cases! No real protection but a segment/recommendation for super thin clear cases like the Peel case would have been very nice. Personally looking for a clear case but not bothered about drop protection.

What clear case would you recommend that is average, or on the slimmer side, and protective enough with sufficient enough raised edges around the screen? I’ve grown to hate screen protectors and the case I have on my old iPhone has 3 mm raised edges all around the screen. 3 mm may be too much but I’d like enough to where if my phone falls face down on a surface that the case protects the screen from being impacted

Some of my iPhone cases that I bought is for the 13. They do fit the iPhone 14. I got those cases before I got the iPhone 14. Even some of them were reduced in price at Target. I bought a sparkling one for iPhone 13 with Mag safe in the case. I bought it a little bit over $11. Even this one Katy Spade iPhone case and even one with flowers on with a pop socket towards it. Those 3 that I saw on clearance at Target.

Can you do a ‘dust test’? The only thing that stops me from buying clear cases is the visible dust that seeps in and is visible on the back of the phone through the case. Are there any that manage to stop the dust from creeping in the back?

Even my fully sealed lifeproof fre case somehow manages to get dust inside. I don’t understand it. It seals like Tupperware and is completely waterproof but yet dust and dirt find it’s way in over time. With that being said, there’s no way that any case with an open front won’t allow some dust and debris in unfortunately.

The grippy edges are what will yellow first. I find that, because of the flat edges of the phone, even polycarbonate cases aren’t slipping through my fingers. I wouldn’t use them with winter gloves, however.

I got the Otterbox Symmetry with the magsafe and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid mag on our 13PM. The Otterbox side is not crystal clear while the Spigen you can see t he beautiful side of the 13PM. Both are wonderful case. I dropped mine plenty of times and its holding up good (Otterbox). Cant say much for the wife using the Spigen since shes not prone to dropping. But my 2 years of using clear case from both of those company on our 11PM. The Spigen will yellow in a few months while the Otterbox is crystal clear like day one beside scratches.

I think the magnet ring actually adds a cool aesthetic to the phone. But the scratch ready PC turns me off clear cases. Spigens ultra hybrid quartz is the best for me but I wish they could add MagSafe to it.

it seems like wireless charging will work, but its very week. and magsafe only works if you have the white ring on the back of the case. if not, no magsafe compatibility.

I’ve yet to find a clear case that doesn’t yellow over time. I’ve had 7 different clear case for my iPhone 12!pro max and all have yellowed after a few months and some even after a few weeks. Now I use the speigen tough armour case.

I’d love a Casetify Ultra Impact.. But.. I’m not about to spend $80. I’m happy with my Rhinoshield Crashguard NX. Just HATE how it handles. Wish there was another option. I use MagSafe and dbrand skins, the only cases that I want don’t come in clear back just colored or frosted or… no MagSafe compatibility. Phone Rebel Gen 3 look amazing but they won’t release cases until 2055 at the rate they are going.

The Apple clear case does not yellow whatsoever, even after many years, but it costs 2-3 times as much which is ridiculous. Does not handle well, but since I don’t use max versions I don’t mind and will continue using it every new iPhone I buy.

What about the speck clear iPhone 13 case ? I bought it over a case from tech 21. Lol. It fits nice and tight the small dots and raised edge around the camera keep it from laying flat haven’t dropped it yet lol cause iPhones aren’t cheap 😂 and it’s only $20 bucks

My partner bought the non-magsafe clear Spigen case, and her popwallet+ didn't hold as strongly. So she's selling it. Not gonna take the risk without that extra magnet. I agree the circle thing doesn't look great, but we usually have the popwallet on most of the time anyway, so it's really a non-issue.

Nobody reviews the Caudabe clear case. I think it’s the best clear case. Though it does not protect from falls and drops, it helps with scratching. It’s also thin and does not yellow over time
