I think Colourpop palettes are my favorite because the formulas are rich and blendable, and somehow they keep the costs way down! Way better than drugstore, and their customer service is awesome!

I love them for the same exact reasons! They are high-end quality and also made in the USA which is awesome. I believe they own their own factory, rather than outsourcing so they are able to keep the prices down that way. :)

On another note, Judy C. has wonderful three-looks, one palette tutorials on all of these. There is always one simple "wearable" look-as well as works of art that are doable thanks to her clear instruction. She has the best cut crease tutorial for hooded eyes! Judy also does honest but not harsh reviews, and shows dupes within the Colourpop collection for shadows, lipstick colors, etc. Hmm... Wonder why you two are my favorites. 😂 Judy's a very talented young woman from New Zealand-who is also Asian. There are surprisingly few Asian beauty content creators (and KZbin suggests them far less).

I love your ColourPop and dupes videos! It's crazy how obvious it is, but I totally missed that the Perception palette looked like the UD palette until I saw you compare them. I still get overwhelmed by the choice of palettes, but my favorite is the You Had Me at Hello. I like that it also has a mirror so it's good for trips! And thank you for the last shot comparing all the palettes- I usually have a few windows open trying to do the comparing myself, but this makes it so, so much easier. This is an awesome video format! I love that you showed swatches, dupes/similar palettes, and the shot and the end where you show them all at once. Great job! The only palette I have ever bought in my life is "yes, please", but I want another one that has rosy and mauve tones, purple, dark blue and olive green, preferably matte neutrals or slightly warm toned without a ton of shimmer and I'm having a hard time choosing ONE. I don't want to buy many palettes cause I'm just getting started with eyeshadows and don't use them every day.

Very informative!! You and JUDY are my favorite Colourpop reviewers. I just got my first one, Fame, in the mail today and am waiting for It’s My Pleasure, Double Entandre , Give it To Me Straight, Dream St. and She pallets. Colourpop got on my radar, initially, from Mel Thompson, who is also great, and quite the high end snob, usually, and I trust her opinion, so when she said that It’s My Pleasure was probably the best purple pallet ever, I got very intrigued. Can I give this multiple thumbs up? I reach for the Kathleen Lights Zodiac palette the most. The shades are unique; lots of easy three shadow looks; mattes that blend so well I've created to created a new (Sagittarius + Aquarius = heaven); and together with Dream Street-the perfect palette. If I need something cooler or warmer, the sister palette will have it (e.g. Virgo is a cool brown, Elfish is warmer). I took the two on a trip and didn't need anything else since Zodiac has a mirror. Although not a dupe in shades, I think the two Kathleen Lights palettes together are as good a travel palette as Born to Run. Your dupes not only help me choose a lower-priced palette, but also what not to buy what I already have in my collection, i.e. Tartelette Toasted, Born to Run, Soph x Revolution Extra Spice (similar to Gingerbread Spice which is similar to Fortune/Good Sport), etc. Although the Toasted won't make it past this winter (the darkest brown already crumbled and fell out).

Hi! I became hooked on Colourpop at the best time- shortly after Christmas. I got my first CP palettes at a discounted price. Which were I think I love you, Yes Please, & You had me at hello. I later got California State of Mind as a freebie promo. A lot of people are critical of this all shimmer palette because it's a little chunky & glittery, but with the right primer I've made it work. I got the All I see is Magic holiday palette before it was sold out & the MLP palette in a Boxycharm. I was disappointed at first, but after I tried it changed my mind. Good pigment, beautiful colors. Then I got the Semi-precious palette & Dream St. because of the great reviews. And finally (phew) The Zodiac palette. I have nothing bad to say about any of their palettes. I also LOVE the LUX lipstick creme formula. The Yes Please shadows DO compliment blue eyes. I also love that their make up is cruelty free & manufactured not far from where I live. They even make all their product labels in their warehouse. I noticed the She Palette has returned! Do you have that one? The colors are tempting, I just wish there were more mattes
