Couldn't agree more with your number one. I'll never understand the hate for your number 5. And I finally played your number 6 last week and enjoyed it quite a bit. I felt like I was losing, so I started to try and quickly trigger the end-game. Ended up winning by a thin margin.

Totally agree about Architects. Plays so smoothly. I love Century, but too brain burning for me to consider it a comfort game.

Filler games? No Thanks! is a natural on this type of games. Port Royal. Dixit. Excape, a dice game by Knizia. I got Cabo Deluxe Edition, wish to play it for the first time soon...
