My current favorites are the Farmer's Insurance ads, and the "Mayhem" campaigns, for Allstate. They are funny representations for why you might need insurance. But they don't beat you over the head.

Can't believe they left out the Energizer bunny. It is still their mascot three decades later. Also, the Budweiser frogs were way better then the 'Wassup' campaign. Here in Brazil, Volkswagen made a ad campaign called "Use sem dó", which roughly means _use without mercy_, which basically consisted on the same principles of Chuck Norris laws, it was hella funny though Another one is Brahma tortoise, search for "tartaruga da Brahma", and you laugh a lot, these two companies always win the best ad prize, always, even today
