I would love to see a video about corals that typically play nice with each other. You could break it up between expert, intermediate, and beginner corals. Basically techniques of how to fill out a reef the way you guys do it! You have done several tanks and I think people want to know the thought process of how you design with respect to filling it all in.

Reef don't play nice together that's why it's built on the dead of the conqured. It's always a war, just keep same species near same and you'll avoid a chemical war.

You don’t want your corals to just survive, you want them to thrive. That temperature is too high. We suggest 74-78 F

why do the beginer corals cost 70 bucks you dont even say how big
@WorldWideCorals3 жыл бұрын
Growth rate, availability, and demand. There are some soft corals that takes forever to grow/ multiply. While there are some hard corals that can actually grow pretty quick. If you go on our website, you can find wysiwyg frags with photos and approx. size

@WorldWideCorals3 жыл бұрын
That's debateable
@shanewever3 жыл бұрын
@@WorldWideCorals As a working research diver and coral reef biologist I assure you it is not a coral. It is however in the same phylum as coral " cnidarians". They do not accrete calcium carbonate like stony hexacoral nor do they fit the family octocoral or gorgonian (meaning multiples of 8 tentacles).
@WorldWideCorals3 жыл бұрын
@@shanewever Even more debateable now that you stated that
@shanewever3 жыл бұрын
@@WorldWideCorals and why is it debatable? What makes anything I said debatable?
@jdearel13 жыл бұрын
@@shanewever understood, and point taken. The hobby in general misidentifies them as corals. However what makes this debatable is that you may well be the only professional coral biologist that debates this in the hobby to such a finite discription. WWC is not trying to spread misinformation. These animals are grouped in as coral just like the misidentified "mushroom anemones."
