Corrie lost a long-time fan with Sarah's pregnancy. I doubt even Jeremy Kyle could have found a pregnant 13-year-old. It was the start of the slide down to nonsense that Corrie eventually became.

I really enjoy watching this. Coronation Street is certainly the most popular show in UK history. Richard Hillman's murder suicide attempt is definitely one of the most iconic moments in Coronation Street history. I love how they had the You and Me Song by The Wannadies on. Also Deirdre being wrongfully imprisoned as well (Free The Weatherfield One). Can i recommend that maybe WatchMojoUK could do a part 2 of this because I reckon a few others such as Hayley's cancer and taking her own life, Stephen Reid turning into a serial killer and Katy Harris killing her dad in a moment of rage. Maybe also a top 10/20 most brutal Coronation Street murders.

I haven't watched Corrie in ages, mainly cos the soap has become so dry and repetitive with story lines, but I will NEVER forget the tram crash and Richard's death. I do wish that you guys would've done an honourable mentions list, one of them being Hailey taking her life before her cancer did; that was quite shocking to watch too.

I could add the totally unbelievable story at present of Tyrone and his mother. Originally played by Margi Clarke who met Driedre in prison. Tyrone came to the street squatting in curly watt's. She had a fling with Lez now he's got a different mother never said hiya to the Barlows who she knew. Now with a different M.O. the only similar thing she's from Liverpool.

I wanna know what Samir Rachid (Deirdre’s 3rd husband) was doing down the canal before he was stabbed to death. That part of the canal in Manchester in real life is a notorious cruising area for gay men,it still is 😳🏳️‍🌈 Also Martha Longhurst having a heart attack whilst drinking her milk stout in the snug of the Rovers Return on the 13th of May,1964. No one even noticed she was dead 💀⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️😂😂😂😂😂

OMG I remember watching Deidre get sentenced, Richard Hillman driving the Platts in the canal, Sarah getting told about her pregnancy I’ve seen it all but nothing beats the tram crash. The only scene that I've seen from this list is the Geoff and Yasmeen one. I watch Corrie every time it comes on Britbox in the United States. It is one of my favorite British programmes, after On the Buses. On the Buses to me is the best British sitcom. It is even better than Only Fools and Horses to me.

The fact that Sarah's teen pregnancy went on this list didn't surprise me because of how much controversy it had gotten, but believe it or not, girls can get pregnant that young. I am American and I started watching Corrie in the early to mid 2010's, and the very first scene I watched was when Sarah gave birth to Bethany. When I saw her, I thought she might've been sixteen (which ironically is how old Tina O'Brien started to play her), but when I read up on her more on Corrie's Wikipedia website and found out she was thirteen, I was kind of shocked, but like I said, it didn't surprise me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hold on! You've missed out the single most shocking Corrie event in the history of Corrie! Alan Bradley getting knocked down by a Blackpool tram! Of course, the most shocking part of this wasn't the demise of one of the true villains of the show, but the fact he was killed by one of those trams at all. Not the modern ones, with more bendy bits than the Stelvio Pass, but the old original trams. Which barely got above 10mph. Odds were, if one of those hit you, you'd do more damage to it than it would do to you
