"weak army". switzerland has one of the best geographical defenses in the world, and while their army may be small, it certainly isn't weak. they have most of their roads packed with explosives, so that they can be detonated and ruin any chance of a foreign invasion via mapped roads/bridges/etc. not to mention their bunker count in the appalachian mountains.

Our motor bikes where the only ones with machine guns on them, danish made heavy machine gun, and rifles for the rest except command staff. Even the Kings guard opened fire on the Germans in the street around the palace, until their commander walk out to talk to the Germans, that yelled for him to raise his hands in surrender, he then said that was undignified and that holding his hands out to the side would be okay. Someone took a picture of the stunned Germans and him talking, after he reached them. So it really depends on when, and how we are attacked, not to mention who is invading, as we could easily beat Belgium but would lose to Russia, USA and China easily also. Syria today is also a battle harden place, and you geography also makes it hard to quickly take whole of the whole country. Again it really depends who are attacking and is it only an invasion of most of the country and people that is needed or total control of the area and population.

The Japanese war council didn't want to accept it, it was the emperor that made them.
