I love marinating my chicken drumsticks in Pro Cure! This week at WinCo the drumsticks are just .99 per pound (the big flat packs). This is when I stock up. I bring 'em home, break open the package, make smaller vacuum sealed bags of chicken (that will fit in my pot's bait cage) and I put some Pro Cure in there. Then I quick seal the bags (with no vacuum sealing pressure because the stuff will go everywhere!) and I let 'em marinate overnight in the fridge. From there I toss the bags into my chest freezer. It makes a frozen cube of bait and Pro Cure that fills the crab pot every time (the size of the crab, of course, varies wildly 🤣) I saw you utilize the 10 foot mark on the crab pot line a while ago and used that suggestion. It impressed my friend with the boat (as someone without a boat who really wants to have a boat it's always great to impress the boat owner, right?) and made our amazing day of crabbing in Tillamook Bay last October much easier and one for the record books. Being able to communicate with the boat operator like that was huge. Thanks for that tip! I also did the crab buoy customization using some used buoys I lucked into. Just sand them with sandpaper, put a layer of primer down (I used white primer) and taped off some cool stripe patterns using bright fluorescent color paint (pink, green, purple, yellow). It made finding the pots a breeze (even though they were marked on GPS because there were still a half dozen other pots close by). Great tips! Thanks for the awesome video. Now... Off to play the lottery to see if I can win and buy that boat 😉

@@WillyFish I have got to figure out WinCo's price change schedule. They don't have ads like big grocery chains but I went to buy another flat pack today and the price went up to $1.29/lb. still pretty cheap! Also found them for cheap at Grocery Outlet! I like supporting WinCo either way because they're employee owned and Pacific NW based!

What's your favorite attractant?

I love the Pro-Cure crab attractant the most. It's more consistent than all the others that I have used over the years.
