Basically sid did his usual stage dives and misjudged the distance to the floor. He landed 15 foot down on his heels and shattered them both. He then proceeded to finish the show on his feet with a small stool to rest a leg and switch out every so often. Dude is a hero I can only imagine how much that hurt

It was during that show in the video and he jumped from a place above the stage down to the floor of it. It was a good ways down, about 20 feet I'd say and he couldn't do the intro to Heretic Anthem because of the pain.

My first mosh pit experience was awesome even tho i got hit in the ribs and fell down but this dude helped me up and asked was i ok and i said yeah thanks for helping me. my first slipknot concert at the mayhem festival 2008. i was at the second stage watching Machine head and going crazy... Yo i know toughness is keen but there's no need of throwing hands in a mosh pit.. yeah you gonna have those assholes but there are a handfull of cool ass dudes.. so if you get in one don't throw hands
