Cowboys Report host Tom Downey’s takes:
- The free agent options are poor at RB and I think Ezekiel Elliott is better than Dalvin Cook
- Justin Simmons is likely too expensive (and has same agent as Dak Prescott), but would be a big boost
- Michael Thomas has struggled amid injuries of late, so let the young guys play
- Ngakoue has ties to Mike Zimmer and could fill the Dante Fowler role with the Cowboys
- Adoree’ Jackson has the skill set to help at the nickel, which could be the main depth need
- D.J. Humphries is way better than Chuma Edoga, but the health and role are questions marks
- Lawrence Guy isn’t in his prime anymore, but I’m desperate for DT help right now

JERRY BEEN SLACKIN he hasn't paid CEEDEE OR DAK so I guess free agency is basically window shopping they cheap asf it would make sense to sign Brandon Ayuik he could play receiver number 3 and instantly make an impact long with another Defensive tackle to rotate Dan Quinn did a good job keeping guys fresh that's why we had the most take aways 21 I wanna win a Superbowl so bad buy it ain't happening this year smh I HATE JERRY JONES

They signed like 3 or 4 UDFAs. We’ll probably never hear about them. But a couple looked good. A couple of them were over 330. I know they are UDFA and unproven. Hopefully we find a beast. A great or good DT would make this a top defense.

I’d love to get Justin, and Gilmore. Our Young WR will be fine As long as you sign CEDE I seen Noah Brown get catches from Dak don’t sleep on Brooks DT is our biggest need I know Mazi will be a beast in the future but his injury set back in his off season training is clear. I do think where going to make a trade for a DT Stephen Jones just wants to see Mazi in camp. If Dallas can make those 2-3 moves we will have a better season and win playoffs games.
