Around the World is from 1997 so it couldn't be on the list, but if Daft Punk could go back in time and somehow combine the lyrical content of OMT with the musical quality of ATW, that would be one unbelievable smash hit.

"One More Time" is still played by DJs today, even mashups and remixes of the song are played in any big-name EDM music festival. His signature voice is due to vocoder (similar to the effects applied to the vocals of Imogen Heap in "Hide and Seek"), not Auto-Tune.

+AngelOfDarkness Were you, perhaps, a preteen/teen during those days? Because people who were teens during the 90s bash the 00s music, and culture in general, and people who are teens today will probably remember anything that came out during those very days fondly. That's just the time of your life that people usually remember the most so it makes sense that they relate the culture they witnessed during that time to good memories. I rarely listen to songs that came out in the late 00s when I'm alone because I don't think they were all that good, but when they play in public, I get good vibes from them.

There were like 3 songs in that entire list that I liked in all of the 2000s, including the honorable mentions. The Daft Punk Discovery album though. Every song on that album is amazing and could've dominated this list.

Hello, i wanted to ask you all if you know this one song that was popular from 2000 to 2006. In the song there were a boy and girl that were singing. Тhe girl was short and slim, and the boy was medium height and a little bit chubby. They were dressed in black t-shirts and their clothes were like hip hop clothes. The girl was wearing blue shorts and the boy was wearing shorts but to his knees. The song started with a guy with big curly hair at a party. All the people from the party were going down the stairs in a building and they went on the road as well with running. The whole music video was(with golden yellow colour) with people singing like in front of a car. A girl with blonde hair was on top of the car. One more thing the boy and the girl were singing outside. Thanks for reading this, and message me if you think you know the song.

Most of this list reminds me why I retired from DJing. Couldn't stand the hip hop. Did like #8 "When Love Takes Over" and honorable mentions "Nothing But You" and "Stereo Love" from that decade.

"yeah" is probably my most memorable song of the 2000s. don't like any of the artists, don't like the genre, don't like anything about music of that era... but "yeah" got under my skin and every time i hear it, i instantly fly back to to that point in my club days... but "call on me" is just the perfect dance track. the beat is infectious, the song is simple, and that video is STILL one of the sexiest of all time

I love how haters come onto all of these videos and act like they know better and that their opinions are better, not to mention the misguided hatred they have towards Watchmojo when one of their choices didn't make the list. Note that Watchmojo isn't the one ranking the lists, there are a bunch of other (possibly stupid) people behind it. If you don't like what you see then become a Mojoholic and vote yourself. But no, some people would rather be lazy and make mean comments about how their subjective opinion/taste is better than others. /rant

6:24 Call On Meeeee Call On Me Eric Prydz - Call On Me is an absolutely amazing song to say the least!!! It has me dancing everytime I hear it! I know that some people find that song annoying, but I love it!!!! It's certainly much better than Whip Nae is because Call On Me as a good beat, nice tune and FANTASTIC VOCALS, Whip Nae has neither of those three! One of the mighty legends in dance music, matched only by Darude - Sandstorm and Robert Miles - Children!
